Samix SCX10-PRO Stainless Steel Pivot Ball (10) (5.8mm)
I don't leave many reviews but this is worth mentioning. In the batch that I received there were machining inconsistencies. Some of the balls measured 5.88mm which is good enough to fit the rod ends without binding. But there were 3 out of 10 measuring 5.68/5.67mm which makes for a terrible feeling suspension.
Also the holes were different dimensions. I don't own pin gauges, but I had to search all over my 18-years worth of RC collections to find screws that measured 2.93mm diameter instead of 2.95mm. Unfortunately I stripped the threads on an outer mounting tab thinking the 25mm long screw was going on through. And then fought like crazy trying to get the screw back out of the pivot ball once I realized the screw wasn't going through. Very frustrating.
Anyway, I'm sure these will be super durable and all, but I have to search for matching screws per pivot ball and then have to check the slop in the rod end when assembling.
