These things are awesome! All pieces are a perfect fit to the stock axles and they look great. I myself don't want my TRX-4 Blazer covered in a bunch of brass color and instead I got these for the additional weight as well as the look. The only thing I noticed with these is you also need to buy the Samix TRX-4 Brass 12mm Hex Adapter (4) (+8mm Offset) in order to make the brake rotors fit without hitting the wheel wells. No problem though, I got them and these things look amazing as well as make a huge difference in crawling around.

Looking for brass components for your TRX4? Look no further, Samix makes a variety of brass components to keep your TRX4 planted to the ground. I am currently going all brass in the chassis so these brass steering knuckle, C-Hub, Portal Cover & Scale Brake Rotor set came in clutch in keeping my front end weighted.
The Scale Brake Rotor was such a cool touch to the scale look!
Pricing is a little bit much but if you compare what you get from Samix over Amazon, I prefer quality over quantity.
Now if your in between brands such as Yeah Racing's set over these Samix set, then your like me where I couldn't decide but because I like the black coating with sanded lining to show a little brass around the edges then the Samix is the way to go. Yeah Racing's set is also just a bit more. So more bang for your buck with these Samix.
Still waiting for the brass steering bushing though...

A must have for your TRX-4. Will greatly lower your center of gravity and help crawl and climb massively, while still maintaining a scale look, And after a year of good solid use they continue to operate flawlessly.

Hands down best thing you can do to your TRX4....have the full set on my 2021 bronco with a long arm kit and 1.9" tire setup machining is top notch and finish is beautiful you won't be disappointed

Impressed. Trx4 sport goes up severe inclines very well...stays stable going sideways on hill.
Stock ESC handles it well on 50% drag brake.
For really technical crawling, you will need to switch to 100% drag brake.

This stuff actually fits and looks amazing, which is more than I can say for many other things I’ve tried. Everything is tight and sealed, i’m actually really impressed, more than I thought I would be. And I t adds the perfect amount of weight in my opinion.

This was the heaviest set I could find, it looks a lot better than raw brass for scales, and the performance difference is undeniable. I had one line in particular I attempted probably 30 times before and after installing this kit I made it the 2nd attempt.
Very impressed with the machining of these parts, everything went together perfectly. Very happy these are painted as I am not a fan of the raw brass look. I put these on a TRX4 Bronco to help lower the center of gravity. I installed the front kit along with front and rear diff covers. I feel the added weight could put you at a disadvantage if crawling wet/slippery surfaces but overall the truck performs better in most situations. I generally crawl dry rocky surfaces and these portal weights have helped keep the front end down and the truck on its feet. The truck looks more planted and realistic when crawling. Definitely recommend if you are looking to add some unsprung weight to the front of your rig.
This is my first Samix Upgrade part and I must say, I am completely impressed! Everything fit perfect and was machined great! Also when you buy these kits it’s almost like getting the disc brakes free. Which are also a nice added touch.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade to Brass parts.
these brass part look great i have them installed on my trx4 bronco the installed with no issues on my yea racing aluminum axles i have the same set up for my rear axle and the perform flawless the truck is more planted to the ground and doesnt bounce around at speed on bumpy terrain

Great fit and finish , a excellent upgrade , looks and works as advertised.
The left steering knuckle was not drilled properly and I had a slight problem getting it on, but in the long run was able to get it installed. Other than that everything looks great and the weight Samix parts add to your rig is very beneficial
I installed these parts plus the full Samix rear brass kit on my TRX4 and the quality and performance gains are awesome. I also installed the alloy Yeah Racing axle housings and brass diff covers, so every part of both axles is brass other than the aluminum housings. Along with adding several ounces of weights to the wheels inside the tires, there is now so much unsprung weight that the side angles i can now take is crazy. Even with the stock defender body with several scale parts on the roof rack, the full traxxas light kit, metal bumpers and rock sliders plus every aluminum part that Hot Racing makes, the beefy brass front servo mount, Samix alloy shock hoops, 110mm shocks in the tallest position allowing 2.2 wheels with tires over 5" tall etc etc. Only stock part left are the chassis rails. The Bowhouse lcg battery mount helped a lot, but these brass parts would he the first upgrade if i were to build a second rig.
