Revolution Design Associated B74.2 Ultra Battery Mount Set

The previous review was spot on. The Delrin (plastic) posts threads felt really loose and I had to use longer bolts, that were not in the kit, to retain them to the chassis. I end up just taking the kit off of the car and it's just sitting on the bench as I felt that it would not safely hold my battery in the car. Unless a revised version comes out with aluminum posts save yourself some money and pass on this one.

If I could give this less than 1 star, I would. This product is a great idea that was very poorly executed. First off, every part of this requires some modification to work for the thick shorty packs, the plastic piece that is the structure of the whole thing is a very weak, cheap plastic (that should be aluminum,) you can't even tighten screws as tight as bleeder screws in plastic shock caps(which is not tight, it's snug) without stripping the plastic out. The screws are not the correct length, I was not able to use a single screw that came with the kit, I had to use screws that I had on hand. The swing over battery tabs, If you have your battery all the forward or back, the tab is barely long enough to catch the top of the battery. I don't write reviews very often, but after spending over 50 bucks on these through my LHS for mine and my son's cars, I felt this was needed to save someone else the money and the trouble.

Honestly, this product is not very good. It does not fully tighten down to the chassis and does not really hold the battery in very well. The screws stripped without any effort. I ended up removing this from my car and now no one wants to deal with the bad product design. Amain is not intersted and sends me to Ruddog, and Ruddog sends me back to Amain to deal with it. Kinda disappointing to be honest. Look, not every product you buy is going to work perfectly, but this one seems fundamentally flawed and as such I just took $27.99 and threw it out the window. Would not recommend until the design gets fixed and I really want it to. The design itself is exactly what many racers are looking for, but this one falls short.

My fault on not reading the review before buying this part. Unlike the 2wd counter part (B6 and T6) so far Ok but this is a bust.
Solution so far working for me on this is using a 34mm long M3 countersunk screw from the bottom then a locknut on the top.
So far it solves the issue and hopefully it last. Also consider changing the carbon battery strap to an AE part number 92273 which will be more secure

The threaded section is plastic and stripped out after the first wreck. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. THIS THING OWES ME STARS. WHAT A P O S. READ OTHER COMMENTS AS THEY ARE SPOT ON. NO DIRECTIONS, SCREWS STRIPPED OUT. JUST THREW IT AWAY.

No directions have to use parts from original part screws provided are way to short to actually hold post in and they use the same hole so when you do put a longer screw in the top post your bottom screw has nothing to bite to it came totally off in my Qualifier I eneded up super gluing it to the chassis and superglue the screws in top and bottom it held I took it off and went back to original elastic strap poor design
