RC4WD 5-Lug Deep Dish Wagon 1.9" Beadlock Wheels (Black) (4)
I bought a marlin crawler. As u know, it comes with 1.7 steel wheels. I wanted to go to 1.9. So I knew there would be interference issues with bigger tires and leaf spring suspension.
And not being fond of hub extenders, here's what I did and it worked wonders. I bought wagon wheels deep dish 1.9 5 lug steel wheels. 4 milestare Patagonia tires.
The wheels I forgot to mention had a negative offset of 3mm, meaning 3mm farther away from body of car.
This increased dramatically the width of axle track plus have the needed clearance when turning so as not to have tire rubbing on front leaf spring.
The look is so much better. The larger tires make climbing over obstacles so much easier. Only modifications to body was small edge of wheel well fender behind the tire. Also installed a 100-130mm Punisher shaft for rear. Required for extra length. (Bigger tires).
Excellent.
