PSM 3.0mm Carbon MP9 TKI4 Center Differential Plate

Awesome upgrade for the MP9 TKI4 v2 ReadySet. All the holes lined up just as they should. I upgraded all of the ReadySet components to the PSM Carbon Fiber parts (front and rear shock towers, front upper plate, radio plate, center differential plate, and transponder mount) and they are really awesome upgrades to what was already an amazing buggy. Highly recommended. This also has the mounting hole for the fuel filter that is not included in the ReadySet version but I added.

Two items to note. First, there is minimal prep-work of cleaning then sealing the machined edges with a cotton swab soaked in CA. Instructions are provided and the precaution supposedly helps prevent delamination. Second, the ReadySet version of the MP9 uses a slightly simplified version of the plate that eliminates the busings used on the non-readyset version. Therefore, if you are doing this upgrade on the ReadySet, you also need to purchase a new brake cam set because the bushings are not available as stand-alone parts, at least that I could find a source for. Kyosho part number is IF414B.

The product itself is good quality. Everything lines up where it should. The instructions mention sanding the edges and apply sealer with it. Not really sure why they don’t do this when they’re made. It’s also slightly thicker than stock so you may need longer hardware. I wish it came with the bushings or at least had a link to it in details. I wasn’t even thinking about it when I ordered this.
