This is the ProTek R/C Universal Radio Case. Everybody loves getting a new radio system. What everyone would love to avoid is the additional cost of a new radio case to protect that fancy new radio. So the minds behind ProTek R/C have developed an all in one solution that will allow you to use a single radio case to protect your current transmitter, with the flexibility to protect the transmitters you buy in the future!

The case itself features a tough aluminum shell, with reinforced corners, locking latches and a high density foam lined interior, all in an effort to withstand the potential punishment and abuse that occurs during transportation. But what makes this case unique is the replaceable high density foam inserts* that allow the case to accommodate a variety of transmitters on the market! This includes Airtronics, Spektrum, KO Propo, Futaba and JR! Simply purchase the foam insert that fits your transmitter, and use the same case over and over. ProTek R/C has developed another unique and incredibly flexible product that will keep your gear safe, and has the potential to be one of the best storage investments you can make.

*NOTE: Foam insert not included and must be purchased separately.

Features:

  • Interior Dimensions: 14x10x5.5"
  • Accommodates transmitters from Airtronics, Spektrum, JR, KO and Futaba

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
I really like this case, my MT-4S fits nice and snug. Although the fabric(felt?) on the walls of the bottom section is peeling off a little in the corner, it's not a big deal really, nothing a bit of glue can't fix, just be careful when inserting the foam as it can peel it back. There is a small scratch on the bottom on the outside, but again not a major issue. I'm just nitpicking..you wont be disappointed.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
Well this is my first purchase at this shop and i JUST have NO WORDS to describe my satisfaction!!!!A++++++ e-shop!!!
Explaining:
I purchased this transmitter case on 16/2/2014 and i got it in my hands on 22/2/2014!!!!!!Shipping from US to Greece!!!!
Very short period for such a trip :):):)
SUPERFAST shipping
SUPERSAFE package (the case came in a box TWICE its size and was full of AIR BUBBLES ,hope i describe it correctly)
SUPER PRICE (Unlike other "high brand" transmitter cases that cost DOUBLE price have their sides made of wood and use metal only on the edges THIS ONE has all of its sides ALUMINUM made and on the edges a very hard plastic(?) or some kind of plastic but very hard.
With the right foam insert my Spektrum DX9 fits nice and i now feel safe (and different as i haven't seen anyone here in Greece who owns this case hehehe :)
There's a video on you tube VERY helpful to watch carefully this transmitter case specs.
I believe i made an excellent purchase.
Thank you amainhobbies :)

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
I did some research before ordering this case. I have a Spektrum DX6 and thought about how cool it would be to have a custom made Spektrum case to take to the field. Having "Spektrum" on the side to show off my brand is cool, right? Well, then I read some of your reviews. Concerning the "custom" Spektrum case, I read things like, "The foam inside isn't very supportive" and "I had to trim the foam for the transmitter to fit properly". Then I read the reviews on this case and ordered it. Your reviews are right! The foam is a perfect fit for the DX6. The foam is also very supportive. This box will protect my transmitter far better than the original box, and it adds a lot of style. It's a great looking case and appears to be very solid. I'm gonna crack this baby out at the field, and people will actually think I know what I'm doing! My only complaint - it came with a small dent, about 1 cm long on the top half. I don't know if that came from the factory or happened in shipping. It's not enough to bother my AR butt though. This is a great box. With the liner that must be purchased with the case, it's about the same price as the "custom" name brand case. My advice? Go with this one.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
I haven't given much thought to having a case for my transmitter... yet WOW... this case is built tough... and solid... I'll use it now... because all it takes, is one good fall, and your play day is over, once you break your transmitter...This case is built as well as any gun case I have ever owned... simply order the correct insert, and you're on your way... great product.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
There is a reason you will see this case at every track, being used by races of all levels. There is no better case out there.

Mine lives a harsh life of being tossed in to the car and airplane overhead compartments. I have stood on it (would not recommend) in a punch to grab something from a top shelf in my house. Though all that it has survived.

I considered getting a new one now that mine is so scuffed and scratched up, but I can't do it. It has become a prized possession.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
Well built case with a lot of space for spare servos, receivers, extra lipo packs & other peripherals. I have bought two of them, one for my Airtronics transmitter and it fits there as a glove. The other one with a pick n pluck insert and I made it suitable for my Hakko FX-888D soldering station with all of the peripherals adding two boxes inside for additional stuff like tips, flux, wick, tin & shrinking tubes. Gunmetal and flat black make it look sleek; and is constructed tough as hell. No other radio case needed cause I'm planning to upgrade to M12S transmitter, and only have to change the insert and the trick is DONE!!!!!!!!

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
Look no further this is the case to have. I have it with my futaba 4pks-r and I debated between this and the futaba case very glad I went this route cause with the protek foam the radio is protected better and has more storage options. I off-road race only and this case has such a good seal it protects my radio and other extra electronics dust free and debris free, now the case it's dirty. But it has done it's job very well, if your debating buy this and your correct insert and never worry if your equipment will be protected again.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
I'm currently using the Airtronics m11x radio and this radio case is awesome. It has plenty of room to have extra receivers or servos and they are well protected within the foam. The quality is awesome, plus the colors are really good looking. This is a must have to protect your expensive radio. Plus if you switch radio brands you can just get the insert instead of buying a new case.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
Great case. Really high quality and just feels well built. The the optional insert fits my 4pl great with a lot of support to keep it protected. Even comes with 2 identical key (one is a spare), so you can lock your case if you need to. Even the lettering and design looks great, not a sticker. It's my favorite thing to take to the track now.
Highly recommend for any radio.

This case may be the one piece of RC equipment that never gets replaced. New transmitter? No problem! Just order the appropriate insert and it's a done deal!

I really like this radio box. it made going to The Dirt Nitro Challenge a breeze. I was able to bring my radio, batteries, sunglasses and charge cords all in this one case. This thing is extremely heavy duty and I am very happy with my purchase.

ProTek RC Universal Radio Case (No Insert)
After bumping into a table with my wheelchair and knocking my 3 week old 4PL into the floor and the antenna breaking off and it costing me approximately $65 with shipping, I thought I'd give it a try. Pretty sweet case. I have 3 of them, and need one more. It's well worth the $.

Nice transmitter case. Well made and would probably work great for airline use if I ever fly with it. Works great for my Futaba 4PM transmitter and three sets of batteries.
