This is the ProTek R/C 130T Digital Hi-Torque Metal Gear High Voltage Servo. ProTek R/C Servos have been developed to provide enthusiasts with high quality servo's that will exceed expectations at every level. With features that meet or surpass what our competition can provide, ProTek R/C servos deliver performance and unmatched value, with industry leading customer support.

The ProTek R/C 130T High Voltage Hi-Torque servo delivers an incredible 288 oz-in of torque with a 0.10 transit speed at 6.0V, and when you bump the voltage to 7.4 the spec's increase to 355 oz-in and 0.08! Spec's like these make this servo an excellent choice for any 1/10 to 1/8 scale vehicle application. Other features include a full metal gear train that is supported by dual ball bearings, a 200mm long 22awg connector wire with gold plated connectors, a coreless motor and an aluminum middle case that helps to dissipate heat and helps to increase efficiency.

Plus, instead of a cheap plastic servo horn, ProTek R/C goes the extra mile with an included aluminum single arm servo horn that will stand up to a majority of the punishment you can throw at it. Stop wasting your money on budget servos that look good in the spec list, but fall short when its time to perform. Get ProTek and don't look back.

Warning! This ProTek R/C servo requires that you use a m3x10mm screw to attach the servo horn to the output shaft. If you choose to use another screw, be sure to use a 10mm length screw. Use of a shorter screw can cause failure and will void your warranty.

ProTek RC 130T Standard Digital "High Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
This has all the initial makings of a fantastic servo, especially for the price! Many of us bought these servos when they were discounted 20%. Unfortunately, there's a down side. The protek servos (purportedly manufactured by Futaba) often begin to suffer from what many refer to as the "futaba shakes." This has happened to 3 of the 4 protek servos (130S and 130T) that I have bought. All of these servos have been used as steering servos in a 1/8 buggy. The servos that developed the "shakes" happened shortly after I began using them (with less than 1 hour of run time). The "shakes" happen after turning the servo and allowing it to re-center. The servo begins vibrating vigorously. This is only prominent when no load is on the servo (when the buggy is lifted in the air on a stand). Supposedly this is caused by the servo having difficulty digitally finding center. A-main does have fabulous customer service, though. Hopefully they'll work to get this issue solved quickly. Or they'll post a notice giving a solution... or saying the "shakes" don't affect performance. I'm sorry to have to post a bad review, but I want to help my fellow hobbyists out there save some of the confusion and frustration that I've had.

I’ll keep it short and sweet! I run mostly 1/8 buggy. This is up for the task and this servo hasn’t failed me yet. Plenty speed and power for 1/8 vehicles. Shocked these stay in stock honestly.

ProTek RC 130T Standard Digital "High Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
The only other servos I can compare this to are the factory-installed (SCX10.2) and cheap Amazon versions. This is by far the best servo I have used. Very quiet and plenty of torque to move my heavy wheels and heavy rig. There's not really much of the RTR 10.2 left otherwise this might be a little overkill, but I've done a lot of add-ons and rebuilt it at least 6 times now. I hope this will last me a while since it was 3-4 times more than the others I have been using.

ProTek RC 130T Standard Digital "High Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
I've been using this servo in my two Traxxas 4-tec VXL chassis' for two months now and I have to say I really like the way they perform. I find I have less tendency to over steer when exiting corners. The overall steering response is more fluid and precise than with the Traxxas 2075, X and R variants.

But the best part is the Protek servos with this size case are a drop in fit for the 4-Tec with the stock servo horn and arm. I was sold Savox and EcoPower servos that the dealer (not this one) said would fit the 4-Tec but didn't. I had to return them. It's great to finally have options to the 2075s without fitment hassles.

ProTek RC 130T Standard Digital "High Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
I really hate to give my first bad review, but I took a gamble on this since most of the reviews were positive and a relative few mentioned defects. Imagine my luck, mine also had the shakes. So, unfortunately, I have to give my experience with this servo a one-star. Five stars to Amain customer service though! They sent me a shipping label, and I'll be getting this back to them just as soon as I un-quarantine. Thanks, COVID...

This servo is horrible i had it for two races at my small local track and it started jittering. Its on an eb48.4 and im not hard on it but it didnt last long.I take the blame cause i shouldve gotten a higher torque one i guess.

ProTek RC 130T Standard Digital "High Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
I have 3 130T's and i've had one of them in my sct410.3 for 2 seasons now with absolutely no problems yet! Don't be afraid buy these now! they work great. The true test i suppose will be steering in my nt48.

**Update 8-23-16**

I wouldn't recommended these for steering in a truggy. Still going strong in sct though.

**update** 9-26-16 Junk servos for 1/8 scale. Both truggy servos went out within one season. Trying the 150s now.

BLAZING FAST in a 1/8 buggy or truggy (I use this servo in both). If you're detecting ant lag at all, it's probably from your transmitter, because it is most certainly NOT from this servo. :-)

Great combo of torque and speed, I have 2 in my D8T TTE and they do everything that I need strong enough for heavy braking and fast enough to sling around truggy tires.

ProTek RC 130T Standard Digital "High Torque" Metal Gear Servo (High Voltage)
I recently bought this servo for my E buggy. So far this is an outstanding servo!! I run it at 7.4 volts and it has plentyyyy of torque and speed! I have seen no issues with servo glitching or centering issues. It's a very quiet servo and I look forward to buying more for my nitro buggy.

I've been running these servos in my 1/10th scale vehicles for quite a while. They give me all the speed and strength you'll ever need. For the price and warranty that ProTek provides on it's products, they cannot be beaten.
