This is a set of four ProTek R/C 1/8 Scale Buggy & 1/10 Truck Tire Mounting Bands. Too often a faulty glue bond can ruin a tire, as well as possibly damage the wheel and insert. This forces you to repair the tire, or worse...buy a new set of tires. With the aid of these Protek R/C Tire Mounting Bands, creating a tight consistent glue bond is easier than ever!
 
These mounting bands are ideal for 1/8 Buggy Tires and 1/10 Short Course and Stadium Truck Tires and will help to make the chore of gluing tires a little easier. The bands apply pressure to the tire and keep the tire bead pressed firmly into the glue channel in the wheel. This eliminates air gaps between the tire and wheel and helps to create a strong glue bond. Plus, six equally spaced pull tabs located along the outer edge of the band allow you to easily move the bands into the position you need them in. If you give these a 5 star review, you dont also have a set of Jconcepts bands.

These do work well just as the others have stated in their reviews but the tabs are somewhat small and hard to pinch when compared to the Jconcepts bands. I would recommend the Jconcepts over these.

Best Tire gluing bands available. Period. Will even work on 1/10 scale buggy’s if need be. Just won’t be overly tight.

These bands work well for short course and 1/8 buggy tires. They provide sufficient pressure to keep the bead in place on short course and even 1/10 buggy tires, but they aren't too small or difficult to work with on larger 1/8 buggy tires.

These were very helpful for gluing my 1/10 Stadium Truck tires. Even with larger tires with large pins like the Gladiator, the bands fit around and help snugly.

The ProTek bands work great. The tabs make adjusting pretty easy. Good squeeze on the SCT tires, and also small enough to do 1/10 buggy rear tires too!

These bands are great! The tabs really help a lot with handling the band when it's on the tire, and the rubber is very tough and durable. Totally worth the money!

These tire bands are a must for any serious racer. Gluing is now much easier with the new Protek bands. Instead of carrying rubber bands everywhere that stretch out and break, you can now use these bands that are extremely durable.
