I like these towers but just received a rear one that's cracked in one of the chassis mounting holes. Sent an email to Proline, will wait and see what happens.

Follow up to first review. I bought another kit because the individual pieces are not available yet. Having much better luck with my second tower. I emailed proline about my first tower, they are sending a replacement, nice customer service. This kit handles way good, SC10's look out!

As for the tower, make sure you use the top camber link hole on the rear shock tower, it offers more rigidity and is a stronger point. The set up sheet that came with the kit shows placement int he middle hole, move it to the top hole for better durability. This is what is posted in a traxxas forum from a proline techy!

I give this kit 5 stars, as I understand, new products will have bugs, and the company made it right.....mucho kudos Proline! This kit turns the slash into a different, competitive truck! Cheers! -//- My Rear shock tower broke in only two laps, on a jump which I race on the same track all the time, just on a set of doubles, and indoor, well known track. Pretty disappointed. will buy one more shock tower and if it breaks too, I will send the whole kit back to proline. It does handle really well though, that is no BS. durability may be an issue! Rpm needs to make the same tower,that way I know it won't break
