Pro-Line Extended Front & Rear Body Mount Set for Traxxas Slash

Too flimsy and weak, adjustment holes are too small for the screws provided.had to drill them out!

These body mounts work great. I bought them to install a new body on my slash and they have been great. Love the fact taht I don't have to deal with the body clips anymore.

Flimsy & cheap. As others have said, the holes are very difficult to align, and strip out easily. Super disappointing, as most other Proline parts I’ve bought have been good quality.

Bought this mainly for a screw-on style body mount. It is at a decent price, and also has much more adjustability which is a bonus. I definitely prefer this over the traditional body clip ones, because the screws hold on to the body as tight as possible, leaving no space in between, and also spreads out the weight distribution more evenly on the body (protects the body from rips and cracks near the body holes).

In terms of looks, it looks pretty nice overall. I like the Proline logo between the body posts, and on the screw caps. The car also looks much better with the screw caps than the body clips in my opinion, and it also looks much more solid (and not flimsy). I use this with the stock Traxxas Slash body and have the rear set all the way down (the body posts are very long in the rear), which makes it look a bit odd, but it clears the suspension arms even with the shocks are completely compressed, so it is well thought out!

I originally thought that the screw caps were all plastic, but the threads inside the cap itself is metal, so it will not strip unless you are really cranking on it (really no need to screw it that hard). Once installed, with the body on, the o-ring (wedged between body post and screw cap) provides plenty of friction so that the screw cap won't back out, but also has enough give, that it is easy to take off.

Quality-wise, the parts were machined very well, and fit together perfectly without any issues, which made it a breeze installing it. *(there are no instructions included, but it is easy to figure out, plus Proline also made a video for how to install it).

I think the best thing about this is that Proline offers replacement parts for this (everything separately), so you do not have to get a second set when only a small part malfunctions.

Overall, I would definitely say that this is a great product, and that I would definitely buy another if I had another Slash.

I used this on my rustler in the back to allow installation of stampede bodies. Thumbs up.

Plastic is wayyyyyyy to soft. the holes for the mounting screws do not align properly and will strip out/ destroy the holes.
