Conversion Overview:

Pro-Line Twin I-Beam Pre-Runner Suspension Conversion Kit. Turn your SCX10 I/II into a 2WD Desert Truck with Pro-Line's Twin I-Beam Pre-Runner Suspension Kit! Harking back to the early days of off-road desert racing, I-Beam trucks reigned supreme for their unmatched durability, accessible long-travel suspension, and straightforward design. You can now embody the spirit of desert racing by transforming your SCX10 I/II kit into a 1/10 scale pre-runner.

The Twin I-Beam front suspension features a pair of long "I-beam" arms that intersect in an X-pattern, effectively managing lateral forces on the wheels. Complementing this, radius arms extend backward toward the central skid plate, providing stability in the fore-aft direction for each wheel. Designed to mirror the geometry of full-sized trucks, this super-scale conversion kit incorporates true swing set steering and center-mount radius arms to enhance handling across the entire range of suspension travel.

The I-Beam conversion kit offers a comprehensive solution to transform your SCX10, delivering a complete shift in your driving experience. It incorporates stainless steel links and robust steel pivot balls for lasting durability. The updated battery tray repositions the battery to the rear, enhancing weight distribution and overall performance. Furthermore, the newly designed front shock tower includes provisions for dual shock mounting, and the rear trailing arms offer three wheelbase options, providing increased adjustability and versatility.

Pro-Line Axial SCX10 I/II Twin I-Beam 2WD Pre-Runner Suspension Conversion Kit
Disclaimer this is not a durability test review. This is a build review.
From the moment I opened the box till I fired up the finished product I was excited to see it finished. I have wanted to build a pre-runner style truck for a while now. This kit has brought me the two wheel drive beach/sand dune runner I always wanted.I have several rock crawlers, and trail rigs but not a lot of rocks to really use them. What I do have is a lot of sand. Pro-line has the backing of horizon and all the facilities to make a high quality product of this type.the fit and finish of the kit is top notch each piece is well made. The hardware is individually bagged making it easy to assemble the kit the right way the first time around. The instructions are pretty easy to follow for the most part but you need to pay attention to how the swing sets and linkages are arranged to avoid any issues with the front end. I will recommend using a little chapstick in the drag link to help make adjustments easier to the toe in/out.if you have a SCX 10.2 or scx10 sitting around that needs new life check this kit out for something different. The build is fun and might give your spare parts bin some much needed attention. What was once a umg6x6 chassis I had on the shelf is now a new build that will give me something to look forward to when the family heads to the beach for a swim.

Pro-Line Axial SCX10 I/II Twin I-Beam 2WD Pre-Runner Suspension Conversion Kit
Another great kit from Proline. I used a bunch of scx10 ii parts i had laying around to get this put together. All in all it took about an hour to go from parts to a rolling chassis. I've always wanted an scale ibeamed prerunner truck and no i have one. Just need to get the ford ranger body and fender flares painted and some new tires and wheels and it will be ready to rock and roll.

Pro-Line Axial SCX10 I/II Twin I-Beam 2WD Pre-Runner Suspension Conversion Kit
This kit can be made to fit the Gmade GS02F Buffalo chassis. I would say 90% of it bolts right up, and the last 10% requires some minor cutting and fiddling around. If you've built a few crawler kits, you could probably handle it.

My only real criticism of this kit is that it should have come with printed instructions in the box. Otherwise I'm just glad someone finally gave us an option for I-beams.

Pro-Line Axial SCX10 I/II Twin I-Beam 2WD Pre-Runner Suspension Conversion Kit
Be prepared to buy extra parts if you're using an original SCX10I chassis. So far I've found that you need front knuckles, side plates, the battery tray/servo mount and a AR44 rear axle from a SCX10II. The frame is also missing 2 holes to finish up mounting the rear battery tray. Not sure if there's anything else since I haven't actually finished the conversion successfully yet because of the missing parts I need.
