Everyone knows the drill with these; drywall tape and shoe goo, yep yep...

For that extra bit of ruggedness, one additional step taken from the heli world: add some edge trim around the entire body. Google/Amazon/whatever for 1/8 inch edge trim; it's black rubber cord with steel bits inside to provide toughness and safety, usually used in industrial or home applications where you want to cover a sharp edge. Adding this to a big lexan body like this makes the thing indestructible!

Smaller edge trims can work for thinner lexan bodies, or of course fiberglass heli coverings. SAB does this and it looks and feels amazing on their canopies.

Very nice looking body but it could be a little tougher. Its holding up but there are some weak spots. Pre-cut makes it very easy.
