Pro Boat Impulse 32" Deep-V RTR Brushless Boat (White/Red) w/2.4GHz Radio & SMART

The boat is super nice and well built. But, on the maiden run it got hot and the flex shaft seized up. Plastic melted and parts broke. This was less than 15 minutes into the first run. The manual does not say that the owner should grease the shaft before first use. It does recommend that the shaft be greased at every 30 minutes of run time, but I never got to that time frame. I was using recommended batteries and followed instructions as listed in owners manual. I called horizon hobby, but was not able to speak to a person. I was given the option of live chat, which is terrible or to get a call back. After I hung up, I got a call back about 10-12 minutes later. The issue here is, that there was no response when I answered the call. I called the number back, but was sent to a standardized message, again not able to speak to a human. So to summarize, my brand new, highly anticipated and widely recommended Pro Boat Impulse 32 arrived to me on 9/5/2023. I attempted to enjoy my new boat on 9/7/2023, but the unit malfunctioned. Now I have a new boat, a very expensive new boat that is useless. I would like a human being to call me and talk to me in person. No emails, no messages, and absolutely no “Live chat”.
