Onisiki Wind Jade 30mm Aluminum Case High Speed Cooling Fan
*Update* 7/25/23: Amain reached out and asked if I’d like a refund or a replacement. Since I was convinced I got a dud, I asked for the replacement. After a couple of sessions, just to make sure, this fan works flawlessly and as mentioned previously, looks amazing. Super satisfied with my purchase/experience. Thanks Amain for offering to help, and for solidifying my confidence in Onisiki products.

I’ll preface this by saying it’s absolutely possible I received a faulty unit!

I bought this for a drifting application alongside the shroud which paired together looks amazing! I run HV 2s Gens Ace Lipos with the bec set to 7.4v and after hooking this fan up and powering on, the fan seemed to be stuck, i.e. no movement. Naturally, I gave it a little assistance, and it started spinning no problem. Then I realized after test driving around a bit, the fan would slow down, or stop completely, then I’d hit the throttle and it would usually spin back up to full speed. After one drifting session, the fan completely stopped spinning and smelled burnt up.

Could be a dud, bad wires, or it can’t handle 7.4v. Either way, it doesn’t work anymore. I only gave it a 1 star because of my experience, which is likely just a one-off case. If it still worked, it would be a 5 star hands down. Only writing this for awareness, not to judge and avoid the product. Onisiki is pretty sweet, aside from my case but this one fan won’t prevent me from buying their products again in the future!
