Nova Engines T6R .24 6-Port Off-Road Engine (DLC Shaft) (Steel Ball Bearings)

Awesome power for truggy, all torque. Sadly this engine uses the stupid 14.5mm “offset” inner bearing race, which means you cannot buy a standard 14.5mm bearing to replace it. These bearings are only available a few places nationally. Just dumb. Otherwise, a total powerhouse.

Excellent engine and equally excellent support from Nova. I own 2 of these now. One had a minor defect from the factory which took me a while to figure out. At first I thought it was a tiny crack in the block but it ended up being an issue with the sleeve. Air was able to get sucked in between the sleeve and block sometimes causing erratic tuning. Nova sent me new parts to my door within 5 days of reaching out to them, no more issues. They respond very quickly to all my concerns via Facebook messenger. The build quality of the engine is on par with my Novarossi and OS Speed engines. Nice low idle, holds its tune perfectly, nice smooth power band, good fuel economy, great power, perfect compression. Break in was easy, didn't stall once. Factory needle settings were very close for break in, just needed to lean the high speed a quarter turn. Nice carb design with allen keys which are way better than flat head screwdriver needles. Also, they no longer use the stupid offset Novarossi rear bearing, it's just a standard bearing now so don't worry about that like another reviewer mentioned. Grab one while they are on clearance!

Daniel Vega Frias, he said that to verify for everyone as it CLEARLY states above in the item specs/description that it’s a STEEL rear bearing. He’s saying that he disassembled to verify that it is indeed a CERAMIC rear bearing. So he is NOT confusing anyone-he’s HELPING.

Engine is BEAUTIFULLY made. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. An engine every single nitro enthusiast must own. Lifts the wheels on my Rc8t4 like it were weightless.

Open motor and verify it is ceramic BEARING!!!! Its true!!!Okay, sir, Daniel Vega is cold and you happened to read the information that exists in the publication above, the error is in the store, right? Can I get knowledge about why you say that?? Item name end in R always come with a ceramic ball bearings and without R is a steel ball bearing. In the market doesn’t exist a not true ceramic ball bearings, they are ceramic or steel.
Please don’t make more confusion to the customers.
