The NCE Corporation SB5 5 Amp Smart Booster is a great option to add updated features to a NCE Power cab DCC System. The SB5 can supply up to 5 Amps of track power while freeing up your Power Cab for a true walk around control. The SB5 accommodates up to 6 throttles plus an additional 3 cab bus accessories such as AIU, USB or Mini-panels. Package includes one SB5 smart booster and one P514 power supply.
NOTE:
- Only use the power supply included with the SB5. Use of another supply will void the warranty.
- The circuit protection of the SB5/P514 is not intended to protect the booster from long term short circuits. Do not allow a long term short circuit to persist for more than 3 or 4 minutes or damage may result.
- An external short circuit protection device such as the NCE Corporation DCC Circuit Protector or the Single Output Circuit Breaker (NCE5240227 or NCE5240225 - Both sold separately) is highly recommended.
