ESC Overview:

Maverick MSC-30BL-WP 1/10 Brushless ESC. This is a replacement ESC intended for use on Maverick's 1/10 Strada Brushless platforms. Alternatively, this unit can also be used to upgrade the standard 1/10 Strada Brushed series when used with a brushless motor. This ESC is designed to deliver smooth and efficient power control and is powered by a five-nine cell NiMH battery or a 2-3S LiPo battery. This ESC is water-resistant and dustproof, allowing you to take it off-road with ease. Maverick has employed multiple protection features including low-voltage cut-off for both LiPo or NiMH batteries, overheating, throttle-signal loss, and motor-blocked protection.

Note:

• When using this item with a 3S LiPo or 7-9 cell NiMH battery, you must change the standard 5V cooling fan to a 12V cooling fan, or supply the 5V cooling fan from the receiver (5-6V)
• While the ESC is designed to be water resistant, the cooling fan must be removed prior to running the ESC in very wet conditions. After running the ESC in wet conditions, please clean and dry it to avoid oxidation to copper connectors.
