Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
This little thing sounds like a turbo when it spools up and puts out some power now! Have been running it on my SC5M with reedy motor and i can tell a huge difference in performance at the end of a run. Motor use to fade, now it stays pretty consistent throughout and keeps on trucking.

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
This little fan is a monster, moves a crazy amount of air for its size. I use it wired directly to my 2s batteries in my XB4 for the motor. Since installing the fan i've noticed a 10 degree drop in temps. The fan comes with an extension, and a little piece of lexan for mounting purposes. The only downside is its LOUD, sounds like a small jet taking off.

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
This fan is out of control, the best I have found to date. I've bought many other brands searching for something of this caliber. Loud and mean blowing power!! Also recommend the 40mm for even more power

Fan looks cool and its nice that it comes with the harness, but the this fan SUCKS! I went through 3 fans before I switched to the yeah racing, which works much better.

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
Bought this fan the first day I took it out to the track it worked great ... motor came off the track warm not even hot.
Took the car home cleaned it up.. went to test radio etc... the fan just sputtered and froze. Then became very hot to the touch good thing I tested everything on the bench. It probably would have melted and caught fire if this happened during a race.
It lasted 3 battery runs before it failed.

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
I bought 3 of these fans for 2019 racing confident with the good ratings. Fan #1 broke out of the housing after just 3 practice runs. The 3 tabs holding the motor/rotor broke off just inside of the housing/shroud. Needing a fan quickly for the next week's big race, I bought a 4th fan with next day shipping. I contacted AMain and they sent a replacement fan (#5) for fan #1. Meanwhile at the big race, fan #4 worked intermittently out of the bag as it had a broken wire that would work/not work as the wire wiggled. I bought a $10 Yeah racing fan (#6) from the LHS and had no more problems. Fans #2 and #3 worked great and still are 2 months later. I contacted AMain again about fan #4 to which they said they would replace that too, but they never did. I haven't tested replacement fan #5 yet and I'm not too confident in it either. So far, Maclan only has a 50% success rate with my experience. I'm DONE wasting money on Maclan fans!

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
Good power bad durability I have broken alot of these. I have mixed feeling about this fan its just a Wtf fan with a Maclan sticker on it. Funny thing the wtf branded fan has several bad reviews. Guess its the sticker that makes this fan a 5 star to some guys. lol

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
Purchased this fan due to good reviews but wasn’t pleased with mine. Installed it on the schelle racing fan mount for a b6.1d and broke a fin not even 12 laps into practice. Had one crash and that was it. Blew lots of air but broke too easily.

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
I can say I am more than disappointed in this fan. I was running it on 7.4 volts on a touring car. It was on a new BD9 which has a built in fan mount, which puts the fan about 8mm away from the motor. It would not run when I turned on the car, but after hitting the throttle, it began to spin. I then realized the magnetic field from the rotor would actually stall the fan. If I rotated motor by hand to a different spot, fan would run. I tried it and the motor heat soaked quickly. Swapped it out for a Yokomo HYPER fan and the motor ran 50 degrees cooler. Not impressed at all.

Maclan 30mm HV Turbo Fan
Recommended to buy.
This fan really blows hard. But you can't replace her with this fan ;-)
I mounted it on the side of Vorza Motor and it started just like a ducted fan at high speed. Unfortunately, while the fan was running I decided to re-tighten the screws a bit and the screwdriver slipped and went straight into the fan, immediately shattering all its blades in a millisecond. Its that fast and powerful. If it would have been another brand it might have simply stopped. Anyways I have brought this again with the help of my friend who just placed a new order on amain.
