Losi Rock Rey 1/10 Bind-N-Drive Brushless 4WD Electric Rock Racer w/AVC
The first thing I said when I pulled it out of the box is it's bigger then I thought it would be and that's a good thing. The detail and look of this RC is awesome! Binding it in was no problem I did have to take out the two screws and remove the faux fan motors at the back making it much easier to get to the receiver to bind it the whole processes didn't take more then a couple minutes and it was ready to go! So on my first run on the desert terrain here in Nevada of sand fine gravel and dirt it was a blast, I ran it on 2s and ran it all out about 60 percent of the time it just glided over the terrain with ease when running all out and in an area where it was big and flat I was having a great time drifting it at full speed it's right at home here in the desert, I did do some crawling nothing to step or slow. I see a lot of people complain about it wanting to flip and it does want to do that but on this terrain I didn't have that big of a problem I only turned it over one time, I think the next thing to do is maybe put a sway bar on it but all in all I love this thing.

7 years in hobby I build all my kits over 30 kits built. Im a mechanic for my real job. This kit is one of my favorites.I bought the Pro kit when it was available $250. Was a easy build and I modified as needed. This is a good kit and is alot of fun to tune. Front, mid, rear diffs can all be tuned. Front 100mm limit strap and 110mm limit straps for rear shock with proline power stroke rear shock springs.

When you look at the car in the pictures, you think that this is a brutal buggy that can conquer any off-road! But, when you bought and got out of the box, you start to think, maybe this is a copy model for the table? For such large wheels, the corresponding transmission, suspension and steering parts are required, but this is not there! The Spectrum receiver was not working, an uncomfortable battery compartment.Need a lot of upgrade, if you want to spend a few hundred dollars, then go ahead !

I consider my self a bit more than a simply rc enthusiast, this car is a piece of crap, it came new with the receiver bad, so my son was not able to run it for his birthday, had to buy a new receiver on my local shop and wait until horizonhobby sent me a new one that in fact was not new since they are out of them, it was the one mounted on the car the had exhibited.

Did many upgrades since I was told that parts were cheap but as I already had the car I had no option but to make it work. Every time I run this car something breaks, and let me be clear each run has been no more than 10 min , is amazing how bad can it be, I have other brands like axial and Traxxas and hands down , but this car is a complete waste of money.

I feel that I was scammed, with this car, I really try to make it work, I spent more than 250$ in upgrades and it still break something new when I run it.

Don’t by this car, go with any other brand.
