Losi Mini-T 2.0 Aluminum Rear Shock Assembly (Silver) (2)

I bought these as an upgrade. The stock ones were fine. But, I noticed something installing the new ones.
F first off they came shipped with oil in them. I think they recommend 25 weight. I topped them off with 15 weight. These Springs are different from the plastic ones that you take off. They are better and not just because they're aluminum. Their Springs are longer for both the rear and front making them way more customizable. In fact when I got the Losi mini B I thought the stock shocks were incredibly soft. Almost ramping up the springs on them just to achieve a 10% droop. On these new Springs, I had to back the preload Locker all the way back to the top almost. So you're getting out early in aluminum upgrade, but better Springs. I did dismantle the bottom of the shock to put a auntie leak green Grease to help keep them from leaking. I may be mistaken but I do believe there is no top cap assembly to these Springs. They are simply unscrewed from the bottom where the damping Rod is, put your oil in , bleed them out the air out, and you're done. Very pleased that I bought these. They look great

The shock caps are screwed on so tight I won't be able to to get 'em off without damaging them. Quality problem and haven't used them. Not a good start.

THESE COME PRE-FILLED! The description says they need oil but they are, in fact, pre-filled. Nicely too. Not sure what weight fluid but losi claims a stock weight on the rtr mini t 2.0 is 20wt. Pretty awesome! Just don't make a mess like I did taking them apart thinking they were dry ??

Great product, a lot better than stock. Seems to be holding up very well.
