this little truck is exactly what she needed, i originally bought my wife the 2.0 brushless, and she smashed it in 3 seconds, new to the rc hobby, the brushless was not a good first vehicle, so when brushed version went on sale for 100 bux... i bought 2, so we could spec race each other on our personal backyard track, and within two batteries she is driving great, the truck for me is a bit slow, yet has enough to get around the track, but for my wife was the perfect beginner truck, it is easily upgraded, i recommend this to any one as a first time vehicle to get into rc
...uh, been trying to get one of these since December when they first came out. They've been on "back order" for the past 5 or 6 months. Impossible to find one. :(
Update: These things keep selling out! With good reason, they are awesome little cars. I finally got mine. Out of the box it is a pretty solid car.

I am not a big fan of the unique shock design. They fill from the bottom which makes it difficult to properly level off the amount of oil you put in as well as remove air bubbles. I would have preferred a standard shock design.

fun truck! after i bought and replaced the cracked shocks that came on the truck right out of the box it’s a great small scale racer!!
Do not get one of these unless you carpet race. The suspension is not designed correctly for actual offroad use. The lower control arms will break.
This can be easily modified by relocating the shocks.
Remove the top hardware from the shock tower and shock assembly.
Let the suspension droop to it lowest point. Tilt the shocks inward and relocate them.
On the rear you will do the same except you will need a drill bit.
My son loves this. This scale makes me miss the 22T

I bought this mini T when it was on sale. When it goes on sale again I will buy more, I love this little truck and man its a blast. I bought the higher milliamp battery. I havent used it yet. The stock battery has some good run time. I dont know if they all are as strong as mine but I have put it to some test. I drove it off the hood of my truck which is about 4 feet high. It landed on the nose and all is well. If you're not sure just do it. I also bought the Mini B and its just as strong.
So far I really like this rc. Only complaint is that the shocks were leaking badly rite out of the box. Besides that it's great.
This is a great little truck. In my opinion it has high quality hardware. The suspension is adjustable with turnbuckles. Oil filled shocks, lipo battery, 2.4 Ghz, it's top notch. The body is also top quality. I am really happy with the grey/white I chose. I don't think this truck will disappoint anyone who is reasonable. Now the cons; the transmitter seems "toy quality" not "hobby quality". The manual is poor. If you have previous RC car experience, this isn't much of a problem. If it your first, a few key "need to know" bits of information is excluded such as: it doesn't tell you you need to switch the receiver on, and how to do so. It doesn't tell you how to adjust trim, just dual rate. It doesn't tell you how to make minor adjustments. Which leads me to my next con, the front wheels were terribly out of adjustment. Toe was "toe out", camber was noticeably positive on one wheel. These cons are not conducive to a successful experience to a newbee. And to an experienced RCer who just wants simple fun with this truck as I do, the listed cons are an annoyance. Still however, I am VERY happy with this little gem. Maybe I should buy another.
This thing is nice and zippy. Fun car to drive and easy to take anywhere. Shocks are a little soft, and I will be changing the motor and ESC to get a little more out of it. I really do enjoy it for the money. 10/10 would recommend! It handles just as well as my 1:10
This little thing is awesome. In stock form it's not too fast, but it's perfect for my little backyard track. I've owned other 1/18 and 1/14 scale vehicles from other manufacturers, but this has quickly become my favorite. You get quality parts with the ability to tweak and tune in a really small form factor. My one complaint is that the transmitter doesn't have dual rate adjustment. My 5 yr old daughter really likes this truck, and even though it's not very fast, it would help to be able to limit the throttle since she's just learning how to drive it. But when these are back in stock, I definitely plan on buying another so that my kids and I can race.
I like it so far, wish it had throttle end point control like some other esc's or have it on the transmitter. Otherwise it is a great one of kids.
ABout time losi made the mini-t 2.0 been wanting one since 2004 after I got the original Mini-t... The mini-t was awesome and the new 2.0 is even more awesome for its size its pretty quick and ive already beat the crap out of it for a couple days and nothing has broke....gotten 15 to 20 mins....out of the 2s lipo even tho its only 650mah charges around an hour hour 30 all around fun and strong truck....
