Mini-B - Performance Based Mini 2WD Buggy

The Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy has been designed to be track or terrain ready! This buggy is great for those wanting to experience the thrills of a performance 1/10 scale buggy in a smaller space. Built using suspension technology from the TLR 22 platform, this buggy features a mid-motor, oil filled shocks, adjustable turnbuckles, and has a wide range of separately sold option parts. Experience the performance of a 1/10 2WD buggy in mini 1/16 size!

About the Mini-B

Suspension

Using the suspension geometry from the TLR 22 buggy, this Mini-B has all the adjustability you would expect to find in a performance buggy. Adjustable turnbuckles allow you to change your camber, front toe, and roll centers. The front and rear shocks are oil filled and threaded allowing you to make precise adjustments to each shock.

Chassis

The aluminum chassis is 1.5mm thick and looks identical to the chassis found on 1/10 scale 2WD buggies. The transmission uses a mid motor configuration creating better balance while also aiding in steering and traction.

Electronics

Powered by a brushed 280-sized 47T motor and HRZ 2-in-1 ESC/RX, this buggy has plenty of torque to get off the line and start ripping. A metal gear Spektrum SX107 steering servo delivers ample speed and torque for cornering. The included 650mah battery and charger ensure you can quickly get back into the action. The included transmitter comes with AA batteries to get you out and driving as quick as possible.

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
Love this thing! The Mini-T is a fantastic mini vehicle, this mini Buggy is great as well! The T is a bit more 'exciting' to drive where the B is a bit more controlled zipping through the corners with its longer wheelbase and slightly different rear wheel(the rear B tires are exactly the same as the T, the wheel is a bit larger on the B) Haven't gone brushless with it yet but this buggy feels like it will handle the brushless power a bit better than the T.

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
awesome buggy for the price. if you plan on upgrading to brushless i would suggest just getting the pro roller. the factory servo and servo saver will go out relativly quick. go with the savox 0263 and instal kit off ebay its less than 40$ and solvges the servo issue. box stock their good litlle buuggys but if you plan to carpet race them prepare to repair

Still hasn’t arrived yet…..ordered it back in January and I haven’t seen any sign of it. Tracking just says it’s a weather delay.

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
Speed controller stopped working after 8 runs or four days. Mechanics and build quality seem good.
*Update* Amain contacted me within hours of posting the review. They are sending out a new speed controller.

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
This little car is amazing, I have the yellow version an it really stands out on the street, it’s not to fast , so pending on how you plan on using it you may want to upgrade which I did to a brushes motor + new servo an this thing flies now , don’t get a high power brushless thoe to much power will only make this car flip a lot , so I got the 4800 brushless , but I may go up to a 5600, but I will not go over the 7200 that’s to much power for this little car , so most def get this car ,

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
Shipping was insanely slow. Package got lost in CO for over a week. Not the issue of a main.
One of the front wheels appears bent, the hex was loose and tightening the wheel nut only slightly helped. Over all though this little buggy is built very well.

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
Pretty fast, sturdy metal chassis plate, Nicely painted body, Handles well, but The screws are easy to over tighten and some screws came over tightened from the factory, and need to be smacked down then screwed in. I cant wait to put in the 6000kv dynamite motor! This buggy will rock that motor.

Losi Mini-B 1/16 RTR 2WD Buggy (Yellow)
Loved the tiny buggy from losi Fast and durable. I play it with my son indoors in a makeshift race track using training cones. Lots of fun. The dual rates works great. I lower the max speed when I let my small daugher play with it to make sure no hard hits. So far so good.
