Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
The axle housing on this rig are inadequate super thin plastic and if you jump this rig I promise you you will break the axle housing. I have seen a RTR break its housing in under 30mins as well as just yesterday I bought the roller cause I've wanted the LMT ever since its announcement and I took it out today 1/24/2021 and I broke My rear and front axle housing. How this rig ever got designed with such big tires and heavy weight and paper thin axle housing is beyond me I sadly have to say save your money or if you do buy one plan on buying aluminum upgrades immediately. I appreciate several things about the design of this RC however they don't make up for my paper weight of a broken RC.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
Fun truck but really poor quality control from the factory. 20 minutes in and I also had a shock strip out of the bell end, losing the spring and limiter. This was just running it in a backyard with the limiter set to 50% throttle, so that’s really weak. Also the hex screws in the axle knuckle are stripped right out of the box, and that’s a big red flag.
As others have noted, the body came out of the box looking jacked up. The decals were bubbly, and the surface was scuffed. That’s really lame to pull a new truck out of the box and it looks used. This truck was over $640 now, this level of cheapskate quality control is not acceptable.
I have a feeling this will spend more time on the work bench than anything, until literally everything is replaced with some type of after market replacement of better quality.
It’s my first Losi, was ready to also buy the SBR 2.0 but absolutely will not after seeing the low quality and standards of the Losi builds up close
UPDATE. Limiting straps fixed the shock stripping problem, should’ve been included right out of the box, silly they weren’t. Servo had to be replaced, went with Savox 1212 for big torque and that’s been good. Lots of other little pieces here and there. Axle housing weak, cracks under the load of big jumps and the aluminum stamped replacements can be pricey. As expected, truck spends a lot of time being repaired, so it makes us wary to take it out and rip it up. Would not buy again. Probably would’ve bought a UDR or a couple other cars instead. Oh well.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
This truck is amazing and very tough but Not indestructible like any other RC... I guess it will depend on how you bash it but I had mine for a month or so and my 6 year old has bashed it hard and it has not broken so far, the body is all scratched up from bashing it which is normal.. Guys at LOSI team should consider giving us buyers some spare parts in the box that are know to easily break for the $600 price it think this is fair... or replace those known to brake easily with aluminum out of the box with out having to have us spent more money in such short time frame.... Some kids Xmas have been ruin because of this !!!

I agree and feel for the people that had this RC car brake easily but I guess is also a matter of luck on where you hit or land... I feel for everyone specially since is a $600+ tax piece of ART... Pop a 4S on this Baby and watch it kick rocks better wear some goggles or stay back... IT RIPS and they do not even advertise on the box that it can take a 4S...

I LOVE MINE AND ENDED UP BUYING TWO SUNUVAS because Grave Digger is all Sold out !!!! Don't tell my wife!

Hope this help everyone and stay safe all!

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
I just bought my second LMT the Son of a Digger for my son. We absolutely love these trucks. I have broken both axle housings front and rear on my Grave Digger but I was launching it 20 ft in the air while it was only 15 degrees Fahrenheit. I was able to get in a dozen jumps like this before they broke. If you bash these trucks closer to scale on warm days they really hold up well. King pins are an issue that need to be worked on. Please Losi figure something out better then what is currently in place. King pins are my one serious point of contention with this truck. They require frequent checks to make sure the retaining screws are tight. If you lose them you end up having to check Horizon Hobby daily because they are frequently out of stock. Waiting on some warmer days so my son and I can start bashing these daily again.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
These trucks are awesome but have many issues.

Poor axle design and assembly is bad. WAY to Much loctite. Servos weak and need replacing. Parts are expensive.

Unfortunately nothing is like it so like a udr it a money pit of chasing problems.

I only run mine on 2s and stuff is already pulling out or breaking. Rod links are soft and stretch out too quick.

i ish traxxas made a lmt competitior. Horizon hobby has been a let down lately and everything goes on sale all the time I don’t wanna buy and more of there products.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
I ordered two of these truck grave digger for my son and son uva digger for myself and they are super fun to play with… until you end up having to replace parts I’ve lost to shocks on my truck because the plastic rod ends are faulty, the king pins fell out of my sons because where the grub screws go are stripped from the factory and you might as well upgrade the axles because those are junk I’m having to replace one now and the tiny screws are impossible to get out and strip so now I have a useless truck until I can order more parts for the 4th time I’ve had them a month and maybe have 6-8 hours of actually running them. I definitely would not recommend unless your ok with spending close to $2,000 for the truck batteries charger and upgraded parts

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
Sweet scale MT. Axel housings are really weak. I also broke a shock rod end in the first 10 minutes of use. Didn't crash or anything just broke on a 3 foot jump. So if you purchase one of these I recommended buying the shock end replacements to have on hand. Also axel housing break fairly easily like others have stated. I bought vitavon housings for a big price to mitigate that issue. Nice thing is housing are 20 bucks to replace but it takes some time to uninstall and reinstall them so keep that in mind. Its a sweet powerful truck rtr. Body is beautiful and the truck rips. Has some big weak points though. Don't buy it unless you intend to upgrade it appropriately. If you want a monster truck and don't mind putting 1k down including the upgrades this truck is a beast. But out of the box there are some things that missed the mark imo. I love the truck and am happy with my purchase but I also knew what I was getting into and intended to spend $360 on the axels anyways.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
Now this truck is a bit pricey This truck would have cost me 599.00 delivered to my door before the price increase. Now it is 694.43 delivered to my door. This includes the drastic price increase and the sudden addition of taxes for out of state purchases. As large as profit margins are on theses toys it is absurd that we the consumers are expected to pay $100 more for a truck with inherent shortcomings. In addition, like every other horizon product they do not accept coupons or discounts. See a trend here with Horizons price fixing?
With that said it is the best 1/10 monster truck you can get right now. It handles very well for what it is, turns sharp and precisely with an upgraded servo and Treal servo saver, the stock is junk. With the updated axles it can handle jumps well, but they cannot take impacts from rocks, roots, ect. It also needs shock limit straps, they should come stock for the price. Losi did their homework designing this, but for the price it should have a better servo, saver and limiting straps. If the price were more appropriate I would give it 5 stars.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
**update **

*The below flaws still exist. Amain customer service did all the could. I finally found the sting and was able to make another perch/retainer work. Rod end too stripped out. So I super glued the dang thing ha. Has held up to a couple 5000mah packs now. So, does is have a few durability issues? Are the shocks and possibly QC not the best? Yes. BUT…..is the freakin thing still the most fun RC I’ve ever owned? YES!! So, I recommend. Just know that you may or may not have some durability issues so be prepared to take that into consideration when budgeting.*

Man I sure hope to be able to update this review soon. So frustrated. This vehicle lasted less than 5 minutes before a rear shock shaft stripped out of the rod end, losing the spring, perch, and isolator. I searched for tad over 3 hours and cannot find.

Local hobby store said they had parts to repair. I drive 30 min to get there. Wrong parts. Drive 40 minutes home in traffic.

I do not have a running vehicle. Also, the body was in rough condition. Lot of crooner and sharp edges. Sloppy decals etc.

Spent almost $1k for truck, batteries and charger. Experienced RC owner. I work on solid axle suspension systems weekly. Less than 5 min in the yard and I have a huge decorative monster truck in my office. I’m hoping amain takes care of me, I need the shocks, the shock oil, and just a heads up, apparently this WILL happen if you don’t have limiting straps. So, guess I’m going to have to order more parts before getting it to run.

Makes me really regret purchasing to be honest. Giving 2 stars instead of the one I should give because, during the 4-5 min I drove it, it was an incredible rig.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
I'm happy with this truck. Won in a raffle at my LHS so for $40 in tickets, its a real winner. lol It is faster than expected on 3s but it is a monster truck, and handles accordingly. Almost anything that upsets it at speed leads to multiple cartwheels, but its handled some pretty nasty crashes without anything other than body damage. It's durable, it's fast, it bashes well, and it looks great. I'm a big fan of monster trucks, if you are too, add this guy to your collection.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
As noted in other review TBD. 1/8 scale hardware packed into a 1/10 scale truck.. how can it not be a win! Other "Gravedigger" models remind me too much of a New Bright toy when watching the vids. This thing Screams extreme hobby grade basher.

Losi LMT Grave Digger RTR 1/10 4WD Solid Axle Monster Truck
I don’t personally have it yet, but there are tons and tons of videos showing how bashable this thing is which definitely gives me a good feeling this is going to be the best basher on the market. I will edit this when I receive my LMT, but so far I’m already giving it 5 stars! Compared to the SMT10, this is no joke. The LMT doesn’t look like a Walmart toy lol.
