Losi Li-Poly Receiver Battery Pack (7.4V/2000mAh)
It doesn't fit with the flat pack cover for the 8ight/T, you'll need to use the hump pack cover. You also need to trim the foam under the battery in order to get the cover closed. I was able to fit the battery and the regulator in the battery box, but it was difficult and I had to run all of the wires outside of the box.

I have used the battery once so far and it is great. I ran practice and two 5-minute heats and recharged it just to see how much ran down and it only used 200 mah. Depending on your setup, you should be able to run well over 1 hour, possibly closer to 2 hours without recharging this battery. I feel comfortable running it all day long at the races without worrying about re-charging it.

I wish Losi would offer slightly larger receiver and battery boxes to make it easier to fit in the electronics. Or at the very least, different shaped covers to allow a little more room. If you try to fit this battery, a regulator and all the wires inside the battery box, it can be done, but its tricky.

They recommend surrounding the battery with foam to protect it, but there isn't any room to do that, so I do worry a little that it might get damaged during a race.

Losi Li-Poly Receiver Battery Pack (7.4V/2000mAh)
I bought 3 of these and used the MRC 989 superbrain to charge them. I charged at 2000mah, 2 cell, lipo using 2 amps for the charge. All 3 seemed to charge fine till I got out to the track that same day. 2 of the 3 did not work, Got home and the 2 bad ones showed error on the charger. Horizon was nice enough to replace the 2 dead lipos. I used the Blinkey balancer on the two replacements. First one charges fine, second one fried the Blinkey. I am not sure who to blame for this, everything was hooked up correctly as the first one charged fine and this time only charged at 1 amp. Last part about these batteries they use a unique balancer plug for Losi only. If you plan on using the balancer your best bet would be to use the Losi lipo charger or go with another battery that supports standard plugs but then you can't use the Losi regulator without an adaptor. It fits very snugly in the battery box with the hump cover.
