The Losi Hammer Rey U4 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Rock Racer Truck has been designed for pure off-road excellence. This truck features an officially licensed Currie U4 Racer body powered by the Spektrum 3150kV motor and Smart 130A ESC. The Hammer Rey sits on scale KMC wheels, Nitto tires and shocks depicting scale reservoirs shocks. Additional scale details include fire extinguishers, functional light bars, interior, driver figures, faux sway bar, brake calipers/rotors, side mirrors, and more. The Hammer Rey is ideal for victory-minded off-road enthusiasts looking for the top-of-the-line RC experience with the inclusion of AVC and the three-position limiting switch. With the Hammer Rey, Losi continues to push the limits when it comes to scale details, performance and officially licensed products.

The receiver's built-in AVC (Active Vehicle Control) traction control system works behind the scenes, making hundreds of throttle and steering adjustments per second, so more of the motor's power is translated into ballistic speed and acceleration instead of just flying dirt. The patent pending AVC system adds a level of performance that simply cannot be found with any vehicle from any manufacturer other than Horizon Hobby. Like traction control in your full-scale vehicle, you can activate or deactivate the system on the fly and adjust the level of stability based on driving conditions. Any RC vehicle can go fast and with AVC you can go faster while maintaining optimum stability in all driving conditions.

Losi Hammer Rey U4 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Rock Racer Truck (Red)
It's not a basher, but thats not a bad thing. It's not designed to be a truck you sling across the field at 45 mph. It's designed to take low speed hits from obstacles and bounce right through them. The truck is fairly top heavy with a lot of suspension movement so its very animated when driving. The price point it is at, Id have liked to see adjustable front turn buckles/camber links and aluminum bodied shocks. The front is very very sloppy on the truck, a-lot of it can be resolved by just putting a quality brushless servo in the truck however. Beyond that, a bit of shock oil tuning and its a pretty cool little truck to drive around. Throw a bit of weight in the rear and your set!

incredible truck, it looks so good and is slightly larger than my UDR which ive always wanted to turn into this truck. that being said I have found that the steering is very sloppy right out of the box, which is annoying because AVC is compensating for play in steering at speed. also the stock toe angle is in a tad to far and since the links are non adjustable your stuck with it. Sort of knit-picking this awesome truck but a tad disappointed out of the box, already looking to upgrade and i havent broke anything yet!
hoping the upgrade parts for the baja rey will be compatible for steering, or i will be waiting for losi to release something tighter. 3s is plenty of power for this relatively light truck, probably wont even try 4s, other than that im looking forward to making this truck awesome.

I only have one pack through this yet but figured I would chime in since it's on sale and discontinued. Over bumpy terrain this is awesome. The body is just smooth with the suspension soaking and controlling everything perfectly. Back to back with my Lasernut, it's body is bouncing all over the place. It does have Proline Hyrax G8s on it which might make it harsher. The Hammer Rey I think has way too much steering travel. Nice for tight places but way too much for any speed. I'm going to limit the endpoints to keep it from rolling too easily and be more scale. This is my first bottom loaded battery compartment. Not loving that. 3S max, no room for 4S which is fine. I have wanted a scale truck like with the solid axle. I did buy a locker for the rear. I plan on taking it into the woods on my crawling trails. At $369. it's a real bargain

The Hammer Rey is a blast, looks great, seems durable and was a great deal at $270. It'll need thicker diff fluid but in my buddy shop it was actually squeeling the tires. The suspension is plush and I did get a real sway bar for the far back and real axle overtravel buffer mounts. Haven't had it outside due to winter and all but it's quick on 3 cell and seems like it'll be more than fast enough for me.

Update. Had it outside for several packs now. It's durable and it corners better than I thought it would. No wheelies or anything but a great racer. I was racing Slash, EMaxx, XMaxx and 4wd Rustler. Love this thing so far. Only parts I've ordered so far are extra body panel screws. Couple front end hits took two out. I surely buy another of any Reys if the deal was good like this.

Best of all the smaller reys! Better than thr baja rey v2 by far!!!! Love it! Stupid fast and takes a beating. Body is way tougher than the baja rey and less prone to flipping in grass.my favorite rc purchase I've ever made and Amain hobbies is amazing.

This seems to be a great rig. We bought 2 on the big sale, and have zero regrets. It will be fun to upgrade, but runs great out of the box. Throttle control is your friend with it I must say.

This truck is alot bigger than expected, not saying that's a bad thing. Great power and suspension, radio range has been out to 100 yards. Detail of this truck is also on point. Has been a really fun truck so far. Improvements. Add rear tail lights, and with having the extra channels on receiver, adding a selectable locked rear would be good. Truck arrived 4 days early

Amazing rig, would recommend to anyone. Definitely have to learn how to take corners with it, but other than that it handles amazing. Fun to drive an looks realistic compared to a typical slash 4x4. I’d give it 5 stars

Being that I love Losi I knew this would be a great truck . Based on the Baja Rey and Roc Rey it's a proven platform .What I really like about this is the Spectrum 4s ESC and 3100 over motor . These trucks are built very well.The all metal drive line is very reliable I have never bent a drive line on my Baja Rey and I am sure this truck might even be tougher .
