Losi Baja Rey Ford Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (King Shocks)
This truck is awesome!! Scale looks and the way the suspension travels is just a blast to watch, also this is the toughest rc I have, have two other traxxas trucks that are breaking all the time, (a rustler 4X4 vxl, and a Erevo 2.0) only thing I’ve broken on this Losi is the front bumper, snapped on first rock I ran dead on into by accident, replaced with rpm and holding up well. It seems when I was researching that this truck has reputation of being very scale in looks but that it is weaker and doesn’t drive as well because of this, but I don’t find this to be the case at all, drifts so well on loose surface perfect balance and control. Anyways if your on the edge, get it, oh and the lights are great too, bright enough to drive the truck at night if you want, great help at dusk when trying to squeeze in a few more minutes. I find myself stepping over other rcs to get to this one, great that you can drive it and bash it up too without having to spend most of your time making repairs and trips to the hobby shop. Very impressed and now looking for more Losi rcs!

Losi Baja Rey Ford Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (King Shocks)
Great looking and driving truck! The thing is fast while running 2s or 3s. I would recommend this truck to all r/c lovers! But unfortunately I can only give 4 stars, I'm sick of companies giving an unreliable remotes! Mine died on the second battery a half hour ride from home. For maybe a extra 20$ added to the price for a better remote might do some good! What do I know? 20 years in the hobby

I've got 2 Baja Reys, one each of the King Shock and Black Rhino versions.

They are great. Besides the Baja Reys we have Slashes at home and a UDR.

The Reys have been super durable and fun. If you run it on 3S (I always do) and crash it or jump it at ridiculous speed...yes you can break it. My breakages have been extremely limited and generally my fault...like my son running into a baseball dugout full speed while we were racing...it happens!

But, for just ripping around and bashing within reason I haven't broken anything and they have been great.

If the front sits too low for what you want to do...adjust the shocks and raise it up... I did mainly to change how its stance looked.

I have the most fun on dirt with AVC off...but don't mind using the system too...it does work. I also adjusted the gearing to the 10T included. They say to do that for 3S running...though I never had problems with the other on 3S. With the 14T (or whatever stock is) 3S was a rip. It hauled @ss. The 10T really is much safer for longevity. My only complaint is ballooning tires, but the 10T really helps with that.

All in all...love these trucks.

Losi Baja Rey Ford Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (King Shocks)
This truck does not only look awesome, it also runs and handles amazingly well. A pleasure to drive and watch. It is also very well build. This line of truck has been there for quite some time now, so its design is mature as it has been well tested and time-proven. For most realistic fun, I think it's really best to run on 2S. Because the LED bars are always on, I decided to install a switch in order to turn them on or night based on outdoor lighthing conditions. There is a downside though: maintenance requires time because of the chassis being built with a lot of screws, bushings, and panels. It takes time to get inside. Personnaly, I don't mind as I love everything else so much about this truck. If you don't go in muddy water, maintenance should not be painful.

Losi Baja Rey Ford Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (King Shocks)
Really fun truck but being new to the RC hobby, I was hoping for much more from the truck manual and Horizon Hobby customer service. I've been asking for answers to basic questions for two months now and still no response. For example, I bought the ESC programmer and it doesn't match what the truck manual states should be the menu options, but they have no idea what the correct items should be; additionally, the motor timing comes factory at 15-degrees but the manual says it should be 0-degrees stock, but once again Horizon Hobby hasn't been able to tell me the correct motor timing after asking for two months now. I also asked another handful of questions about rebuilding the truck or discrepancies found in the truck manual with varying success in receiving useful answers. So overall, fun truck but don't expect much help from Horizon Hobby or the truck manual.

This thing is a beast! I run mine on 3S and changed out the pinion that comes with it. Ridiculously fast for a basher. I've beat the living snot out of it and it just keeps asking for more. Keep the gears greased up and it'll give you lots of enjoyment. There were MANY times this rig should have been broken but it didn't. It's pretty durable for an RTR. I'm extremely happy with this rig. I highly recommend.

This truck is super sick out of the box. Drives rediculous enough on 2s for me. So stoked on this truck and you will be too no doubt.

The drive line on the truck is build fairly robust but with that being said the truck sits way to low in the front so if jumping prepare to get a new bumper and the rpm will fit but will be underneath the front grill, next front control arms dont last long at all very disappointed in rpm since i have never broken any of their products until this truck came along, dont get me wrong its a very fun truck but when they do things like not put receiver in a water proof box weird things happen like the receiver glitches out and makes you think the truck has a mind of its own and wont respond no matter what you do. mind you losi claims the truck is after all waterproof.
