Losi 8 in 1 Hex Wrench Kit

I bought this hex wrench driver set and was very disappointed. Let me first say that I bough it primarily to be my 1/4" electric screwdriver bit set. That being said, the machining and quality (durability) seemed to be good, but every single bit was warped or bent enough that when used in the electric screwdriver, it created a very noticeable wobble, enough that it could not be used effectively as electric screwdriver tips. The wobble would make the bolts/screws go in cross-threaded. Even when used as a hand tool, the wobble was still noticeable, enough to where I felt that it was unacceptable. Every single bit was this way, some worse than others, not just one or two. When I called Team Losi, they pretty much said that they are all probably that way, so I sent it back. I bought the OFNA kit, and it was way better, and cheaper if I remember correctly.

I like these drivers as well and think they function just fine as electric drivers. People have commented about the "run-out" on these or them being bent or warped. They are not perfect but think people could mistake a bent screw over a bent driver. Either scenario will cause the bit to "walk around" when driving the screw in or out.

I really like the set. I love that with just this and a T wrench in my pocket, I can fix 90% of all mechanical issues at the track. I haven't noticed the warping the other reviewers are talking about, and have used several of the bits in an electric screwdriver with no problems. I did break the tip off of the 2.0mm, but that was on a screw that had been red loctite'd and I was putting WAY too much torque on it. I was able to order a replacement tip from amain without any issues, though they're not exactly cheap.

This driver set is a great idea, a very convenient and easy hand held wrench to have. However, all of the bits are warped or bent. This really means nothing if you're using the tool with the metal grip, but if you purchase this in hopes of using it in an electric screwdriver it's going to wobble all over the place. I'm half tempted to throw them away and get a new set, but I'm having trouble letting go of $30 and spending even more on another set of wrenches. I wish Losi recall this or at least reimburse the customers.

The driver end of the bits either don't go in all the way or get stuck in the handle.
The bits are so crooked you can measure the runout with a tape measure, 1/16" to almost an 1/8"

Bits are actually very good, haven't had any rounding or breaks. Very useful to have in your pocket when the pits are far away from the track! Also great to use the bits in a electric driver.
