The Kyosho Ultima RB7SS Stock Spec 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit was developed for high level stock class racing, and has been tuned specifically for 17.5T motors. The kit includes velvet coated aluminum diff shafts, universals, and direct drive top shaft to deliver efficient transfer of power to the surface. Additionally, the overall weight of the machine has been reduced, including a lightweight body. With a revised rear end set up and the lightweight drive line components, this SS (Stock Spec) machine is designed to take your spec class program to the next level.
Features:
- Velvet coated aluminum driveshafts and diff halves dramatically reduce rotating mass and friction. Blade type adapters further reduce friction and wear.
- Gunmetal anodized aluminum front axles help reduce the overall weight of the chassis. The RB7 SS is 35g lighter than the standard RB7.
- Aluminum driveline components help reduce rotating mass and overall weight for improved spec racing performance.
- Velvet coated direct drive topshaft and included 72T spur gear help extract maximum power from today's modern spec class motors.

Kyosho Ultima RB7SS Stock Spec 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
I have to say this Rb7ss is an amazing buggy. I got it because I have been out of the game for years. Price was right and took a risk. To my surprise, it dials in right out of the box. I agree with others that it seems like it would be fragile but it handles like it is driving itself. Not tons of cool hop up parts available but I don’t care because not much could be improved.
I recommend the exotek battery mount and the aluminum steering parts but other than that super impressed
I think of this as fine single cask whiskey while tlr 22 5.0 and team associate b 6.2 are Makers mark and other widely available libations. Kyosho design stands out. Wish there was more people getting on this train cuz I want more parts

Kyosho Ultima RB7SS Stock Spec 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
Love this buggy. Been a few years out of racing and got this to run 21.5 class. First night out and won the B main and finished fifth in the A - pretty happy with that! Can not wait to run it again.

Kyosho Ultima RB7SS Stock Spec 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
Buggy is well designed and high quality as you would expect from a Kyo. I went a bit overboard and hopped it up with everything imaginable for clay and carpet, but no buyers remorse here. The thing handles like a dream and responds well to setup changes. If you are thinking of getting one, do it.

Kyosho Ultima RB7SS Stock Spec 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
Kyosho's reputation for quality cars is not missed on the RB7SS. The finished product is excellent, and the build process was smooth. The manual is like other Japanese manufacturers (Mugen, Yokomo, etc) it's no frills, straight to the point leaving a few things to chance, but all in all it's clear and gets the job done. Comparing this build to the Xray XB2 and XT2 I can say two things in comparison. The first, is the color manuals from Xray are nice to read with lots of details, that's a big plus, but the XB2 also costs 2x what I paid for the RB7SS. Second is the parts trees, the RB7 kit uses them for every single part which I'm not a fan of. The finished product quality is on par with other brands, but I dislike dealing with so many parts trees. In contrast, Xray has almost zero parts trees for the 1/10 kits. Disclaimer, I only used Xray for comparison because these cars (XB2 and XT2) were built immediately after the RB7SS.
Summary, the RB7SS is awesome, great to build, fun to tune, and flies at the track. I ended up building two of them, one with a 21.5T and one with a 17.5T, the car's initial setup made it very fast and easy to drive.

Kyosho Ultima RB7SS Stock Spec 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit
This buggy is hands down the best quality or brand I’ve had the pleasure of building. A few small changes from stock setup and this thing was on rails. Jumps better than any 1/10 2wd buggy I’ve driven. If your looking at this kit get it, you will not be disappointed.
