"This RC is awesome for the price. Good quality RC. Tires that came with it balloons but no issues. Handled well on hard packed dirt. Kept it stock first run. Threw in stabilizers as the buggy doesn’t come with them. Will try a larger pinion like everyone is doing. Amainhobbies is awesome. Delivery was prompt. Would I shop at Amain again? Definitely!" - Gentlemaniac - Verified Owner

About the NEO 3.0 VE

Performance Electronics

This ready to run 1/8 scale buggy comes equipped with a 4S ready brushless motor and ESC. The cast aluminum motor mount features a sliding plate to accommodate different pinion or spur gear sizes. The programmable ESC has different output programs to choose from allowing you to choose the best levels for your driving style.

Suspension Design

The suspension design features large, oil-filled shock absorbers to give you extreme performance over various terrains. Adjustable turnbuckles are used to give you the ability to refine the buggy to your driving style or track. Strong aluminum shock towers help to hold things together and provide durability in case of a rollover.

Chassis Layout

The chassis layout is designed to be clean and simple making maintenance and setup a breeze. The battery tray allows for either a single 4S or two 2S LiPo Batteries with Deans Connectors. The servo and steering assembly is cleanly routed and mounted close to the centerline of the chassis. This gives a more linear throw to the steering rack and provides better efficiency.

Kyosho NEO 3.0 VE ReadySet 1/8 Off Road Buggy Type-2 (Red)
That's a horrible review buddy, what do you expect a company to do when every other day, when non driving people mess up there buggy. An then expect Kyosho to fix it, an to pay for postage. Kyosho is a great company with awesome products. This particular model, it a cheaper version of the race kit. Meant to be more affordable for the FIRST TIME GUYS, an a easier transition into a very complicated and complex hobby grade race buggys. So with that said, not all the materials will be as strong as the $1,000 roller. Nor should they expect it to be, seeing this guy whining made me have to say something. Not meant to argue but just saying for argument of being real an accountable. This hobby is pricey, an even when your doing everything right. Things can break, it sounds like you switched car on first- then turned on your transmitter. Which would cause that, so READ YOUR Manuals. It was your fault I'm sure, don't trash a great company because of your mistakes. Sorry to rant, but got under my skin.

Kyosho NEO 3.0 VE ReadySet 1/8 Off Road Buggy Type-2 (Red)
I loved it from the start. Works great for drifting & bashing set up too soft for jumps I think but we drift a tri oval in the dirt for fun & it’s perfect speed & set up..
I hope my UDL truck is as much fun whenever it gets here

Kyosho NEO 3.0 VE ReadySet 1/8 Off Road Buggy Type-2 (Red)
Did my 1st run today on my back yard track. It did very well, tires are awesome and hook up in loose sand/dirt very well. When I received the car last week, the 1st thing I did was install my radio and a 17 tooth pinion gear. The gear will bring up the top speed pretty significantly but may bring up motor temp as well. We will see as I will temp it next run.

I beat it up pretty good today and it took the beating like a champ, only problem I had was a front shock cap loosened up and I lost some oil. Other than that all is well. Great RTR electric car for the money, and comes with Kyosho durability and dependability.

I am pleased with my purchase from amain.

Kyosho NEO 3.0 VE ReadySet 1/8 Off Road Buggy Type-2 (Red)
Ive owned rc's my whole life. Nitro, electric, street and offroad. All scales 1/8, 1/10, 1/18, 1/24. This buggy has literally dicentegrated. Both shock towers have bent, they are so weak i can bend them with my hands. Shocks have failed , screws constantly back out, strip and bend. All the diffs have failed within first month, worn gears broken case. No oil, in the diffs either. After installing mp10 shocks, mp7.5 shock towers, replacing all three diffs, all of the outdrives, and a-arm hinge pins with the old mp7.5 eclips to keep them from backing out. Im easily $1,000 deep into this peice of crap. If your serious about rc and want a reliable piece look away go with tlr8x or associated, tekno, hot bodies. This is trash, and has cost more than just building a kit. I will never buy kyosho after this, absolute junk. I feel like i cant say it enough.

Kyosho NEO 3.0 VE ReadySet 1/8 Off Road Buggy Type-2 (Red)
BUYER BEWARE!!!! I’ll save the time of a lengthy explanation and give you the quick version. Bought brand new, on break in the car full throttle itself into curb destroying frame and multiple components, I think it may have been fluke or fault of my own, I replace everything on my dime, it repeats itself again, I call Kyosho and they are NO help. They only want to replace radio and receiver on a BRAND NEW CAR. After a lengthy email they offer to “have a look at it” and see what needs replacing BUT want me to send it on MY OWN DIME! So after paying 350 for a new car, 100 dollars in replacement parts the first go around, the extended wait periods between receiving answers to my emails AND Kyosho wanting me to pay for shipping my brand new defective device to them I WILL NEVER BUY A KYOSHO PRODUCT EVER AGAIN. I suggest you do the same and save yourself the money and headache.
