This is the optional Team Losi Eight EZ Change motor mount from King Headz. These motor mounts are CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and anodized. These are designed with a base mount and removable top blocks. Once the mount is installed in the vehicle and the gear mesh is set you can remove and reinstall the motor without resetting the mesh. Another feature is by flipping the top blocks from front to back you can move the motor forward 2mm. This will allow you to run a standard 3-shoe clutch setup without using an excessive amount of shims. Extra mounts are offered so that motors can be swapped out quickly.

  • 5-40 x 1/2" Alloy Allen Head Screws (8)
  • M3 lock washers (4) (used with screws that hold the top blocks to base)

This was just what I needed to use a starter box with my Losi 8ight T Nitro RTR. This allows the rtr engine to sit lower so the flywheel is dropped low enough to use with a starter box. I used this along with the Dynamite backplate/ pull start eliminator.

It's nice when a product is well built and fits exactly as advertised. Extra screws is a great touch and locking washers all the way around. Perfect!
This mount is exactly the same height as the stock mounts. Make sure forward is forward and its a 10 min install. Thanks for making the screw standard also to match the rest of the Losi screws.

I used all KHZ quick change engine mounts on all my buggies and a truggy - so far all OK. However this time on TLR 8 2.0 it did not fit very well - it is 2mm thicker than the TLR 8 2.0 engine mount! My starter box could not hit the flywheel when I crank it. I think I need to do some grinding on the KHZ engine mounts ;(

a reral cool addition to the 8t. positive gear mesh without readjusting after motor removal. downside is u need one for every motor for a quick change during a race. I give it a 5
