HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
By far the most accurate replica I’ve ever seen I literally took it out the box and just looked at it for probably 10 minutes lol. Amazing detail the only thing that would have made it better would have been if cane with a brushless set up but honestly it was worth the year I waited for it

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
This is a great looking car that performs nicely. Looks just like the real car, but why did they not provide some drift tyres with it? You could put different wheels/ tyres on it to drift with but it would not look the same. I know you can buy the wheels separately but I don't know about hard tyres for drifting. Very happy with this purchase.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
I purchased the Hoonicorn as soon as it was released some time in 2018...it's been a little while. The RTR overall does what it is supposed to, function and look great. However, I didn't experience the kit with the stock electronics. The ESC, motor, steering servo, and rx and tx were all swapped in favor of castle creations, spektrum, savox...etc.

I've run the Hoonicorn in the street, driveway, and drifted in my garage. Despite the additional power, and a lot of beating on the chassis, the car held up very well. I doubt any will experience any mechanical failures, unless you jump the thing on concrete and asphalt. The tires were well suited to drifting on many surfaces, to include concrete and asphalt. It is highly probable, the brushless system had much to do with this characteristic. The body and wheels were scaled down very well. The body is a multiple piece design; it has a mix of paint and stickers. Be aware, the tires will rub the paint off under the wheel wells, and the front air dam will rub against the road and wear a hole.

Perhaps the only negatives I have with the car, the shocks are a little too soft for drifting. I would recommend increasing the preload and limit the down travel of the suspension. The car will drift better and have a little more ground clearance for asphalt streets. Lastly, the chassis design doesn't lend well to unprepared asphalt, the chassis design picks up every little stone, in the worst case, the steering can lock up due to pebbles blocking movement of the steering.

Overall, this is a great car. I would recommend it to anyone, but I believe in stock form, or even with a modified brushless system, the car is well suited for the beginner to the experienced RC enthusiast that wishes to have a fun filled driveway, culdesac, or parking lot drifting experience. The car is worth the money.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
its not going so well, since I purchased this car I had to replace the battery and get the switches checked on the remote. It is not working at the moment and I am pretty upset. I was hoping for a better product since this car was rated so highly by my husband.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
Looks: Excellent!
Performance enjoyment: Excellent!
Downside: front wheel loves to kick rocks into the chassis tray jamming up the steering servo. Simple solution of making a wheel well out of scrap lexan.
Upgrade to do right away: 2S LiPo
Overall: 5 stars!

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
First let me say that ever since I seen the Hoonigan Mustang with Ken Block Rippin it I drooled for weeks...But the HPI got together with them and produced this Scale Replica and I knew that was coming to my Collection of RC's..
The HPI Ken Block Hoonicorn Mustang RS4 SPORT 3 is a Great Proven Platform with upgradable part's throughout the RC World but let's call it like it is for this Special Model the Tires and Wheels are stated as Drift but are Tarmac in this underpowered brushed set-up remember the 1:1 has over 800 horsepower so to recreate that in Scale you have to run Brushless and LiPo..now to get the reason for adding this to my Addiction ..The Awesome Body and Wheels and decal set that makes us drool over Cars Trucks and Automobile's is spot on.. so far I have Video of the Unbox and 2 test runs with Awesome Results and Drooling..so if you want a rare cool Hotrod RC then get this HPI..If you want a Drift Car from the Unbox then look elsewhere

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
Been waiting on this car to be released forever! Well, actually the body...I already had a Sport 3. The detail of this is incredible. Even down to the extra wide wheels. I’m definitely glad I made this purchase.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
I pre-ordered after seeing this model teased and did not regret the purchase. The details of the model are excellent and the car is a joy to drift.

It is great the HPI produces so many variations of the RS4 Sport chassis so parts can be purchased and bodies swapped easily.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
the car looked great out of the box and handled great for a few mins and then the esc started acting up and then just quit. I was going to see if HPI would warranty it and send me a new esc but I didn't want to wait so I will be taking it out and replacing it with a Traxxas one.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
This kit has been the “unicorn” of the RC world ever since we saw pictures of it almost 2 years ago. The wait is well worth it! The detail is amazing and hard to believe when you first unbox it. Everything you need to run this kit is in the box so even the basic beginner can be drifting in no time. Hop it up or leave it stock...either way it’s as close as most of us will ever come to driving this mythical beast and a hell of a lot cheaper then the real thing.

HPI Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn 1/10 RTR
The car looks exactly like it. Thing was running great and awesome for the first two times taking it out. Then it was all down full from there the servo went out which I figured was going to happen since the gears are plastic. Then all the screws on the chassis were stripped out. Finally get them out and change the servo. Then the motor sets fire. Then those screws are stripped. Then I replaced it and now the spur gear strips out. Just not very happy with it rightnow
