The Jumpshot SC is based on the latest fun 2WD truck from HPI that gives you the awesome short course racing truck look combined with a modular, TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) chassis that’s easy to work on and fun rear-wheel drive action! With front and rear ‘basher’ bumpers and oil-filled shocks, the Jumpshot SC is ready for the rigors of off-road bashing, plus all-terrain tires and waterproof electronics let you drive the truck just about anywhere. A standard NiMH battery is included and is accessed from underneath the truck for quick pit stops and all-day driving and racing! The Jumpshot SC is ready for hours of fun!

The Jumpshot SC features a radio box that's protected against the elements, a direct-link steering system with a waterproof steering servo and a strong rear-wheel 2WD drivetrain. A complete set of ball bearings lets you get the most out of every battery pack without losing any power from the brushed motor fitted at the back of the chassis. This means you can blast through any type of terrain you want, whether it's grass, mud, asphalt, gravel or anything else!

HPI Jumpshot RTR 1/10 Electric 2WD Short Course Truck
I live in the Nevada desert and love running my RC trucks on the desert terrain of rock gravel and sand and that's where I tested the HPI Jumpshot SC for it's first time out. The battery that comes with it is pretty weak so I tossed it and replaced it with a 2s lipo and made a nice difference, it handles a lot like a Slash but on the desert terrain I find the Jumpshot handles a lot better then the Slash when both on stock tires, the truck is very light weight and I think is more durable with it's metal frame and metal rear axles like my Slash the has plastic ones that broke the first time I took it out. With a few mods this can be a really great truck it just needs a little more speed right now on 2s it runs about the same as a stock Slash but over all I'm very happy with this truck and think it's great for beginners. The Lizard has spoken!

This vehicle has a great chassis design and handles amazingly. Steering feels precise and it drifts well even on pavement. I think the stiffness of the twin vertical plate is a factor in how well it handles. They did a great job selecting the right hardness tire, rather than just going for grip. The battery is also easy to access from the bottom and the body looks very cool, and while they weren't going for a scale look it does look similar to some real race trucks. But the downside is that mine came with 3 of the transmission screws stripped, so I have no way to get into my transmission to lubricate it. This would be a 5 star review if it weren't for the defective screws which make it worthless. Even though I'm confident Amain will RMA the truck, it's a big hassle having to do just because the Chinese manufacturer can't assemble a vehicle properly.
