HPI 1973 Ford Bronco Body
After several straight up SC bodies I was looking for something different to mount on my SC10 4x4. I looked around for a while for something that looked scale and had a similar wheelbase. What I found was this body. What I like is the fact that you can customize it with the included mock supercharger and blower, which I promptly adorned. So this is an unconventional mounting as I adapted this body to fit my truck. I had to hack away quite a bit, front and rear fenders and front bumper and headlights, in order for it to clear the tires and sit at a decent height. The back of the cabin is completely wide open so it's perfect for high flow and anti-parachuting. I also cut out some select surfaces on the hood so air can also pass through there. All in all it's a tough body and can take lots of abuse... with the caveat of the optional blower... The first time my truck rolled the blower ripped right off so be careful and/or do something to more-securely fasten that knob to the rest of the body... It looks okay without the blower and just the supercharger sticking out of the hood but it would look 100 times better with it.
