Easy plug-and-go convenience is the hallmark of electric RC vehicles like the Savage Flux HP. Just plug in two matching battery packs and you are off and running! The Flux Blur electronic speed control can handle massive amounts of power, and you can use up to 16 NiMH cells or 2 LiPo batteries (either 2S or 3S type).

The Savage Flux HP is equipped with tough option parts to help it handle the power of the Flux Tork 2200 motor. We've equipped it with an all-metal gear transmission, steel spur gear, super heavy-duty dogbones, machine cut diff gears, 2.5mm TVP chassis plates, 3mm 7075 motor plate and dual 8mm billet motor clamps!

The Savage Flux HP is based on the proven Savage X chassis, and features a low-mounted Flux Tork 2200Kv motor in place of the big-block nitro engine, a powerful Flux Blur electronic speed control in place of the fuel tank, and twin battery boxes to hold a variety of battery types. Power your Savage Flux HP with either NiMH batteries from 6- to 8-cell size, or dual LiPo batteries with 2S 7.4v or a whopping 3S 11.1v power!

Proven features from the Savage X are carried over, including the tough all-metal gear drivetrain, powerful SF-5 metal-gear servo, machine-cut diff gears and legendary Savage suspension parts and shock towers for extreme durability! The lighter weight of the Savage Flux HP allows us to use one BIG BORE shock absorber on each corner for excellent control and traction on any surface.

The Savage Flux HP is loaded with features that make it the perfect choice for anyone looking for a massively fun, plug-and-go monster truck!

HPI 1/8 Savage Flux HP with GT-2 Truck Body
I got one of these and I can say from experience that it is the most fun rc trucks I own. Other than the fact that the truck is way to fast for its size and can do a standing willy (lol) at 3/4 trigger when you want it to stay on all fours, it's amazingly fun to drive. Also I would suggest getting some spare suspension parts and an extra diff. for when you do some crazzy back flips.XO

HPI 1/8 Savage Flux HP with GT-2 Truck Body
HPI just came out with better gear diff's Part #102692 called bullet proof gear diff's gonna order some soon, it shredded the replacement gear diff's front and back!!! Really upset at this! HPI has discountinued the other two sets they sell, hopefully this wont be an issue anymore. As for the batteries go with some MAXXAMPS LiPo 30c 5400 mah pair their like 80 bucks each. I get like an 1 1/2 run time with them. -//- Yes you will go thru some diff's. I stripped the back pinion gear, replaced it then to turn around and strip the front pinion gear. Also this thing has so much power you will spend sometime upside down and shredding the antenna, had to replace that aswell. Aside from that this is an awesome MT, if you tweak it right you can have a fairly decent racer. You really need to change to hex nut adapters for the wheels, the stock ones will get lost in some tall grass even if you put thread lock on them. found myself losing two of them. Running 4s Lipo's this thing takes off. I cant see myself messing with 6s, seeing that i stripped diff gears @4s power. Just dont do alot of standing backflips thats the main reason the Diff's go out. All in all an Great Truck!!!

HPI 1/8 Savage Flux HP with GT-2 Truck Body
This thing is awesome!! Extreme torque and power. Bad thing is be prepared to shred some diff gears if you are a basher. Bring your set of tools when you go for a run cause everything comes apart with the super torque and vibration, even the parts that were locktighted came loose at some point. But for pure insane fun, nothing can beat it. I still preffer my MGT 8.0, it's a tank compared to the flux, but thats my opinion. I still love my flux :P
