NOTE: Apply some blue thread-lock to the mounting screws for a secure fit

If you replace the big servo with a standard size servo you will need this as the splines are different. I had the hot racing servo horn for the standard xmaxx servo, which is nice, but when i put a savox servo in my xmaxx i had to order this one. splines are NOT the same as stock traxxas servo.

Hot Racing Aluminum Clamp Servo Horn for Traxxas X-Maxx (Black) (25T)
Quality seems good considering it's Hot Racing and I typically despise their products. However, it should be noted that this servo horn is for a 25T output spline of a STANDARD servo in the X-Maxx. It will not fit the stock X-Maxx servo. The stock X-Maxx servo output spline is also 25T, but it's much larger diameter than a standard servo. If, for example, you find yourself purchasing a Perfect Pass PP-SRV-3 Monster T servo (the one designed specifically for the X-Maxx), this servo horn will NOT work. The Perfect Pass Monster T has the exact same output spline as the stock X-Maxx servo.

Although it says this will fit an XMAXX, it is too small to fit onto the stock output servo cap - just a heads up.
