The Hot Racing Slash 4x4 Aluminum Center One-Way Differential drives the front and rear wheels under forward acceleration, but allows the front to 'freewheel' under braking, decelerating, and reversing. A center one-way allows the vehicle to be 'whipped' around during braking. The center one-way allows front differential action, unlike a front one-way. This item is compatible with the Traxxas Slash 4X4, Stampede 4X4, Rally VXL, and Telluride 4X4 vehicles equipped with the center gear differential.
NOTE: This item requires a spur gear that's for a center gear differential. If the vehicle uses a slipper, then the spur gear will not work and a spur gear designed for a center gear differential will need to be purchased.

I just want to mention it fits exactly the same as the stock diff. If it doesn't the spur gear is bolted to the wrong side of the mounts. If it doesn't fit unbolt the spur gear and bolt it to the other side of the gear mount. Now it will fit the same as stock.

-HR motor mount and much more, however, are the most important to note.
THE ISSUE IS, that the HR motor mount that's marketed to be a direct fit replacement/upgrade, doesn't allow for securing the rear bulkhead and assembly. The bearing housed inside the motor mount for the LCG chassis is positioned so that the bulkhead and attached suspension can't be slid into place, whereas the stock direct drive center differential easily allows for securing the rear of the truck to the main chassis. Don't waste your time with this optional upgrade!
