The Hobbywing XR10 Pro Sensored Brushless ESC/V10 G3 Motor Combo was developed for competition. The XR10 Pro ESC features reliable hardware, combined with intelligent software (containing 10 common select-to-use profiles), and is ideal for 1/10th scale on road and off road applications.
The V10 G3 series motors deliver a 4% increase in torque, and a 16% increase in KV compared to the G2 series. This increased power delivery will give you a secret weapon on the track. The motors are super light weight that allows you more options for chassis balance adjustment, and the lightweight motor can helps to keep the motor cool, with efficient heat dissipation. This combo provides the extra advantage every racer can use, with minimal maintenance required.

Initial programming was a breeze, although it was strange the default settings had Reverse disabled. Not sure why anyone would disable it (maybe to prevent the slim chance you somehow enable reverse on super rare occasions in actual racing), but for those would want plug n play and aren't serious about racing this should have reverse enabled by default.
The ESC Seems to have tons of customization option, is small, super lightweight. I have practically no experience with electric motors. From reviews I've seen on youtube it seems the V10 has less torque than some other top motors, but excels in mid to high range rpms.
