This is the Hobbywing 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor from Hobbywing, suited for us with most 1/8 Off-Road Buggy and Truggy options.

Full-Sensored Mode
The first motor (in the world) with a built-in chip which helps the ESC identify it's a Hobbywing motor (when pairing with XERUN XR8/XR8 Plus) and form a power system which can work in the "Full-Sensored" mode to provide users with improved performance and smoother control.

Note: this motor is also applicable to other ESCs, but it cannot work in the Sensored mode at all times.

Turbo Timing Technology
When pairing this motor with HW XERUN XR8 series of ESCs, the Turbo Timing, which is widely adopted in 1/10th scale on-road racing, can be enabled and unleash the utmost power of the motor.

Bi-Directional Adjustable Timing
The bi-directional adjustable mechanical timing, can meet the different power demands of various applications. Bi-Direction refers to CW and CCW operation of the motor.

Advanced Hall Sensing System
The first "error-free" Hall sensing system adopted by this motor guarantees users the steady operation in the "Full-Sensored" mode. A separate high-speed high precision encoder always output the clean signals (indicate the rotor) and not be affected by other signal interference.

Low Cogging Torque
The first motor adopted the innovative 4-pole 8-magnet "staggered pole" rotor has extremely low cogging effect and low torque pulsation (it's reduced by 85% when comparing with traditional 1/8th scale motors).

Features:

  • CNC-machined aluminum ribbed heatsink case with the sensor port covered by silicon O-ring seal guarantees users the effective heat dissipation and dust prevention
  • 4 M3 mounting holes and 2 M4 mounting holes on the front case are applicable to various motor mounts
  • New-style U gold-plated tabs with extremely-low internal resistance allows users to solder output wires easily and firmly on
  • The use of double insulated windings (240°C R-rated), NMB bearings from Japan, and the high-intensity adhesive (340°C) guarantees users the outstanding performance and super durability

Hobbywing Xerun 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor (1900kV)
I'm using this on my TEKNO EB48.3.

I actually am very impressed at the build quality. It does not have as much as torque as my 2200kv sensorless truggy motor but it is really smooth in its power delivery.
This 1900KV motor and Hobbywing XR8 plus go perfect with each other. I have set it to full sensored mode and it is very smooth.
The hottest this motor got was 120 degrees with 17T on EB48.3 when I maxed the boost and turbo timing.

I hope it has more bottom end torque but I somehow compensated it with a punch control.
Great motor so far

Hobbywing Xerun 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor (1900kV)
Everyone is always asking why are my rigs so fast..some have even said the fastest. My secret weapon is this Hobbywing 1900kV sensored brushless motor. My Rc’s will never know any other brand for power. This is all the motor my Rc’s will ever need. Thanks @ always Hobbywing & Amain Hobbies.

Hobbywing Xerun 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor (1900kV)
bull crap. been running hobbywing stuff for years. ive bought 2 of these bearing kits and neither of them fit the rear bearing on my hobbywing stuff. I would say hobbywing support hasn't answered my questions, even though they answer, its usually not what i want to hear. Ive asked about replacement rotors with no response. Buying bearing kits gives you that sense of security, but only to fail you when you take the time to open the motor, the rear bearings don't fit! This is UNACCEPTABLE. Also the rear plate holding the rear bearing you will need a special bearing puller.. PASS

Hobbywing Xerun 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor (1900kV)
I don’t have enough good things to say about this motor, I was a Tekin guy forever and love all tekin products. After I picked up a new 1/8 buggy I decided to give this moter a try with a HOBBYWING esc. It’s a solid setup, and I personally don’t feel any difference between tekin products and the new HOBBYWING. For the price point and how the setup feels, I would recommend this motor with your choice of HOBBYWING esc.

Hobbywing Xerun 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor (1900kV)
First time running a Hobbywing 1/8 scale motor, usually run Tekin or other in 1/8 but primarlily run HW ESC's in all of my 1/10 stuff. I got the 1900kv for my RC8B3E along with the XR8 Plus ESC and it has been performing excellent, plenty of power and plenty of low end torque. A free drivetrain and proper gearing are the keys to success with any brand of brushless motor / ESC. 100% satisfied and will be ordering a HW setup for my 1/8 Truggy next.

Hobbywing Xerun 4268SD G2 Sensored Brushless Motor (1900kV)
I'd stay away from this... had overheating issues running this in my Tekno EB48.4 even after making sure everything in my drivetrain was smooth and gearing down to a 15T pinion. Later found out the rotor was cracked after taking it apart. Hobbywing was good about sending a brand new replacement out right away, but only a few months later and the rotor is cracked in my replacement too, but this time it's out of warranty and they want $80 to replace it with only half of the standard warranty... no thanks, I'll try Tekin's 1900kV this time around.
