This is the Hobbywing Multifunction LCD Program Box. Program your ESC or check the voltage of your LiPo battery, the Hobbywing Multifunction LCD Program Box does it all.

I was torn between the programming card and the WiFi module for my XR10 Pro Stock Spec, and saw on a forum where someone said if they had to choose between the two, they'd use the card. So I bought the card.

Admittedly, it's a slight pain having to cycle through all of the options (and then cycle through all of the values for the option you're modifying). In that sense, the card is really no better than using a button right on the ESC. However, it's nice not having to have your face buried in a manual while counting blinking lights. So in that sense, it's worth it. I also love how small my ESC is, and I assume that couldn't have been achieved if they had built programming capability directly onboard.

So all in all, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. The card I received had outdated firmware, but it took all of 5 minutes to download the software for my PC, connect to the card, and then run an update. 100% painless.

Very easy to use and a must if you have a Hobbywing ESC. Makes changes very easily and on the fly. The price is great considering it's also a Lipo checker.

+1 It's a "tool" does the job it was made to do :) 5***** , Build quality 3.5*** its a little on the tinny side, just needs more inside framing. Don't mix up the v3.1 ESC quality with the program box, the esc is TOP SHELF QUALITY 5*****.

This review is for all of the Hobbywing program boxes and Hobbywing ESC's.

When they work they work great and the price is right.
When they don't they are frustrating!

I used to use high end ESC's and program boxes yet so many co's go out of biz' due to cheap Chinese co's undercutting them so you end up w/ useless ESC's that no longer have support. I finally decided to join the dark side and purchase Hobbywing exclusively for all my cars. I own about 10 Hobbywing ESC's and a few program cards (3 to be exact).
Of the 10 HW ESC's I own, 2 do not work in that they will absolutely not connect to the program cards. I've tried everything, no dice.

Very nice program box and makes changes to the ESC very simple. Also has a LiPo Cell checker built in so you always know your batteries health. I went to the Hobbywing website and did the firmware update to the newest version. Updated very easily too. Nice tool to keep in your pit bag.

I also use the WiFi module from Hobbywing, but this is much faster for quick adjustments. Like to keep one on hand since all of the ESCs are Hobbywing throughout my race vehicles.

Excellent product. I'd rather carry these things around than a PC any day or hassle with wireless connections. Everything is there. It's a lipo checker its a programmer. Has all the parameters I want and most of them I left alone at default. Super easy to use.

This thing is amazing! It programs virtually any Hobbywing ESC with a foolproof menu in the screen itself, and it also doubles as a lipo checker! Always making sure I take this with me cause it's 2 in 1 so less stuff to pack before a bash! Screen is plenty bright so you can see it in broad daylight, and also makes it super useful when it's dark out.

I would recommend going with the Reedy stuff. Hobbywing service sucks.
By the way everybody: ALL my negative Hobbywing reviews mysteriously disappeared form the Amain website I just noticed.
