Hangar 9 Ultra Stick Plug-N-Play Electric Airplane (1524mm)
My morning go to plane. Good build and covering job. The 2 piece wing makes it easy to fit in the car. Plenty of power - more than really needed. Mine didn't need more than 2 clicks of trim adjustments out of the box. Does well in the wind and easy to see during a sunrise. Super predictable and easy to land. Great non-foam option for before work flights when quiet is a concern. Tried a few batteries. 3300s were great. 5000s made it nose heavy, even all the way back as far as possible. 4000s in the right spot work really well and give long flight times. A good $$$ value when you consider the build is done for you and it comes with an ESC, motor and servos all installed. My only complaints: 1. The battery lid screws into a fragile balsa tab and the threaded layer fell off. 2. The battery Velcro pulls out easily and has to be carefully re-threaded through the balsa slots. 3. The EC5 wire is should be longer. All easy enough to fix though.
