Sophisticated sensors, unmatched close-in dogfighting skills and undetectable at long range. The F-22 Raptor™, the U.S. Air Force’s newest aircraft, is the most advanced stealth fighter in aviation technology. Now Hangar 9’s F-22 Raptor PTS is available as a fiery ARF for the more experienced pilot. The F-22 Raptor ARF sports removable NACA droops and wing extensions, and a progressive 3-position flap system for speed control and additional lift. With the addition of two standard servos, the flaps can be fully operable.
The NACA droops and wing tip extensions attach to the outer section of the wing. They help stabilize the Raptor by manipulating the stock airfoil to produce added lift and increased wing area for lower wing loading. After your training is complete, remove the droops and extensions to transform the trainer into a jet-like fighter. Droops and application tape are supplied but not installed. Flaps can be set specifically for Basic Training in a position that provides speed control and added lift. When you’re ready to move up, add two servos and upgrade to functioning flaps with mid and full positions.
Field assembly has never been easier or simpler. The quick-release hatches are spring-loaded to allow easy access to your electronics and fuel tank. A prepainted pilot figure comes installed inside the front hatch. The wing and tail sections bolt and slide together easily for convenient transport and storage. You will need a 3/32 Allen wrench (included) or ball driver to attach the tail.
This one-of-a-kind jet-like fighter is available in this stunning high-visibility red and white color scheme or in stealth gray color scheme, giving pilots at all experience levels the opportunity to fly the Raptor. From training to high-speed loops, rolls and low passes, make your tracks in the sky with the F-22 Raptor.
