Gens Ace Redline 2s LiHV LiPo Battery 130C w/5mm Bullets (7.6V/8200mAh)

Purchased 3 of these batteries as well as 5 of the 4s (no issues with the 4s) All 3 of the 2s batteries have swollen badly, always following storage charging and unplugging when done with a day of driving...Usually no more the 10 minutes each session. All 3 no longer reliable. Have only used them for about 6 cycles each. Batteries should not swell at this price point after 6 cycles. Terrible battery. Looking for replacement from Amain/Manufacturer.

Update: Purchased 4 more in Feb. 2021 ran only one cycle through all four and all four are swollen. Thought I got a bad bunch last time but the same issue has happened with this set. Again looking for replacement from Amain/Manufacturer.

This battery is terrible!!!... I hate to say it considering I've great results with the Gens Ace shorty packs but its true. I'm using this battery on an arrma voltage & Traxxas TRX4 with a BRUSHED 12t 550 motor & hobbywing BRUSHED ESC. This battery SHOULD be over rated for my rc. The 1st battery I bought, it had an issue with one of the cells & the battery charger would throw an error, it also had swollen & it was very noticeable all within a few charge cycles. Luckily my battery was under warranty & I got a replacement directly from Gens Ace. Now I'm on my 2nd battery which is basically the warranty replacement & this battery has also started to swell but not as bad. The cells are within spec, it takes 8000+ MAH of charge but I honestly would not trust this battery in a high power type rc.

Had ordered 2 of these packs, 1 out of the box was unbalanced and would not charge and the other puffed up on its first cycle...not bashing Gens Ace as I own many of their lipo packs with no problems but these 2 were no good...replacements are working perfectly normal. Thanks to the awesome crew at A Main!!!!

Used the pack once in a dr10 drag car with 4.5t motor held up good when done with testing an tuning still had alot of mah in pack going to be ordering more of them soon

While I have been using Gen Ace batteries for years, This battery was horrible. The internal resistance between the 2 cells was way off, causing the charging of the pack to be challenging. I had it shipped to the state I travelled to for a competition, I had no choice but to charge it and use it. I will be asking for a refund or replacement.

Gens ace have been great , these batteries perform as advertised . Definitely feel that little extra with being high voltage.

Cells stay balanced while racing .

Not a fan of prtek batteries with their positive and negative location its reversed from standard 5mm post connection points

I took this battery racing I test and tuned with it I done 4 pulls on it then we raced I took the battery out and it was like a round ball in my drag slash may have been just bad from start some times it happens..

Bought this battery for my Tekno 410.2 Sct and by far one of the best batteries I have purchased. The 130c output gives me a nice burst of power and at 8200mah will not go low in any of my qualifiers/mains. Highly recommend!

My favorite pack for my SCT410.3. I'm keeping up with 4s buggies, with a decent runtime, for as hard as I push it. I'm ordering another one right now.

5 years warranty of any defect. 2 days delivery and only this store have full complete kit on USA market

Great battery so far but wish it would have came with the wiring
