This charger is amazing. Very easy to use, chargers quickly, and very cool look with the white. It is a little loud when the fan kicks on, but not terrible. Best charger I’ve ever had.
This is a powerful charger in a small package. Really love the small footprint this dual charger has. The screen menu and settings are super easy to use. The cooling fan kicks on and off as the charger needs cooling, also the fan isn’t very loud. Great fit and finish. I bought separate two balance boards to make it easier to plug my lipos into, my batteries have short balance leads. I wish these were included with this charger because the single iMars charger comes with a balance board. I would still buy this charger again.
Bought this to replace my dated Icharger that burnt out.. 1st off the looks are classy.. 2ndly this charger is super simple to use.. it shows everything you need and is totally capable of charging 2 2S simultaneously at 10A.. works slick, looks slick, and a space saver.. good purchase for sure!

This is an excellent charger. It's simple to use, not too many options in the menu which keeps it simple, and it just works. I would definitely purchase this charger again.
It is almost perfect however it needs to have balance plug wires as well so it gives you more freedom as far as space goes.
Charges ultra fast and that is with balancing the battery while charging. Glad I got this as I use two 2s 7200mah batteries, a 5200mah 3s and 4s so it definitely cuts charge times that's for sure.
My first real charger, Im very happy with it. It lets me see all the cells and I was able to get all my lipos in better shape as I was charging in the blind previously with no digital screen to know if my cells were out of balance. It did a great job on two of my lipo that where pretty off balance after a few storage to balance charges I was able to recover them and they are even holding after heavy use!
This little charger is a beast. Easy to use interface, lots of options, looks great on the pit table. When I need another charger I will look at Gens Ace options again.

I have been super happy with the Gens Ace imars dual. The price is awesome for what you get. It is very easy to use and great quality. It has a small footprint so it doesn't take up alot of space. I'd say the only downside is it doesn't come with balance boards. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high quality easy to use charger.
Good charger overall, great price. It's nice that the cooling fan only engages when necessary, so the charger is as quiet as possible (which is a nice thing). I wish the "battery charged" alarm were more configurable (both in volume and chime). The "fully charged" beep is fairly unobtrusive - so it's easy to miss in a quiet room. You WILL miss it if the room has any real amount of noise.
As for why I've knocked a star off the review: There's no way to manually give it the hint that I really do know the correct cell count for Nickel batteries. It might be updated in firmware, but I have my doubts: It'd be nice to be able to "top off" a pack that's self-discharged, but you can't because of the 'auto' cell-count detection: on sufficiently-charged 7-cell pack, the voltage is close enough to 9 V that the charger "auto" detects and charges a 7-cell pack as if it's an 8-cell pack, which is not optimal.
As has been reported by others, it has a persistent, foul odor - I wouldn't call it a burnt electronic bouquet; it's more like a barn filled with livestock. It's been with my charger since I've received it a couple months ago. If you're a glass half-full person, consider it a safety feature: it discourages charging in the house. You have every reason to do your charging outside, in a well-ventilated area, preferably with no flammable materials around.
Best chargers I have ever owned. 2 6S 6000Mah batteries will both charge at 6 amps no problems. If you set the cell voltage to 4.20, all 6 cells will be balanced to 4.20. Easy to use. Battery charge cable could be a little longer.
Very good charger super easy to use and great price point!
Junk, quit working after changing 1 battery. Don't waste your money
