This is an amazing little receiver. It's seriously small, it has an internal antenna, and it's Futaba quality. I have three of these now for my 4PL and love them. Highly recommended.
These things are great. Very small, very light weight, the connectors seem to fit nice and snug, and great reception.
The only thing I would have liked to see is channel 4 and battery ports separated. I could see where you might want to use channel 3 and or 4 and not have room to plug in a transponder and or fan. Its a small issue that is easily remedied with a Y cable, I just think Futaba could have spent the extra few cents to put another non controlled channel (aka battery port)on the board.
Robert Hall the RX has zero issues, your problem is your Savox is a power hog and the BEC in your LRP ESC can't keep up. Don't blame the receiver it's just the middle man.
That said, I've got three of these bound to a 4px for my on road and two tenth scale electric buggies. Not a single issue with them, I run two of them with 7.4 volts off the XR10 Pro BEC with an external capacitor using Savox 2274 servos which are also power hogs. No glitching no issues. Highly recommend these for 1/10 electric as the lack of an antenna makes for a much cleaner install and I've never had a range issue with any of them at any of the tracks I race at.
Best Receiver EVEEEERRRRRRRR!!! I have 3 of them and there great with no problems--Bind easy--I have ran indoors and outdoors and works with both. I am sure all other companies will follow in this direction shortly.
I am using this with a Futaba 3PL 2.4GHz radio and a Futaba digital servo. It works flawlessly, no interference whatsoever! Small, great price, no antenna wire = Highly recommended!
Awesome receiver. Easy to setup an bind. Small foot print, plenty of range and no antenna.. Not gonna break the bank either.. WAY TO GO FUTABA!
Great receiver for my 4PL. Works great for crawlers in a receiver box, because there is no external antenna. Range is not affected either. Small size allows easy placement on my drift cars, too.
Excellent receiver. No glitching or signal loss. No antenna wire to deal with. The best value for your money. I have 5 of these in drift cars and touring cars and they all work flawlessly.
Very small, Very quick and very precise receiver. If you’re using a Futaba Surface transmitter and looking for a good cheap receiver. This is the one to get. I keep a couple in my 7PX carrying case for new vehicles or incase one fails at the track.
Great Little receiver, works great in all applications.
Using it with a Futaba 3PV
Works great and one less wire to worry about. Haven't had any range issues or glitches. Sometimes hard to find in stock, must be a lot of people using them.
I love this receiver. Works flawlessly and the internal antenna is a +1000000 from me.
Wonderful receiver! Very small and lightweight, fits in every receiver box, including the smaller Axial boxes. Antenna less feature is great for touring cars and buggies to eliminate the need to an extra hole in the body. Futaba quality. Highly recommend.
Received is faulty upon arrival. very sad wasn't able to use. now i have to wait for resolution.
works great never had an issue, i run this in all 4 of my race builds
I use a few of these with my 3PV and they seem great so far. They fit nicely into the smaller Rx boxes of the TA RTRs (Trophy Rat, MT10).
Ever since I got back into RC this is the receiver I prefer. Easy to setup. No issues with them
Works great, love fact it has no antenna, so far so good after two weeks of driving
Supposed to be "high voltage", but I was still getting signal glitches with my Savox servo and LRP system so...yea. Not that great when you are trying to race.
