Furitek Lizard Pro 30A Brushed/Brushless ESC Combo

Nice esc, I guess... The blue tooth worked long enough to switch it to brushed mode now it won't connect to my phone anymore so the esc can't be set up to run the brushless furitek micro komodo/transmission/mount combo that finally arrived. BTW, the holes on the furitek transmission didn't line up with the any of 3 skid plates but that's a different story.

I know it is a tech thing and may need firmware or something but there is no tech support you are on your own when it stops connecting.

open the app, enter password and it disconnects and repeatedly asks for password. Reset password to 1234 and go through the same process. Deleted the app twice, rebooted the phone thrice.

I have bought 2 and neither works anymore.

I bought it almost 2 years ago, I prolly ran the scx24 3 times since, I ran it with Komodo motor stock receiver and transmitter. I recently purchased a $150 avatar and a $50 receiver (furitek electronics all the way around) to go along with my set Komodo motor. I set it up app says update firmware, I do it then starts up I hit the throttle it started to go and then it stopped and now nothing is working no throttle no steer. I think the ESC just blew out although there is a blue blinking light that’s about all it does. I’m highly upset not at Amain but Furitek. Now I got about $300 in furitek as paper weight.

I have trouble connecting with the app. Must activate location on phone. Once in a while it will connect. Managed to change settings to brushed mode, calibrated throttle, but the settings dont really make a difference, maybe for brushless but not brushed. Was good for a day, then motor started stuttering. Updated to 2.6 firmware but the drag brake was inoperable. 2.3 and 2.4 drag brake works but light wont turn blue and power the receiver until i move the drive shaft. Full of bugs. Supposed to be fun with RC but stressing out instead. Furitek is no help, they just said "uninstall your current app and install the latest version. Check also your bluetooth connections, maybe loose". One time it sparked when i connected the battery, and also light never turned blue (bootloader mode) until i waited the next day and tried again. I do not recommend. All the good things about this product on youtube is a lie. Disappointed in Furitek. But, Nick P. was great customer service.

Update: Furitek communicated with Furitekusa and sent me a Iguana Pro (brushed only). I was wrong, their customer support is very good. I can trust Furitek brand, will look into other products from them. If you have problems, go to the main furitek website and create a ticket, they will respond. Thank you Amainhobbies, Nick P., Furitek, and Furitekusa. Trust Furitek, they made me satisfied 100%

15 hours in, zero complaints, no problems. Easy to use, works and expected. Love it!

So nice I had to buy it twice. I bought this esc for my 1/18 Atlas and it’s great. Plenty of power and very adjustable. This was my first time putting a brushless motor into a crawler and I was surprised how slow and steady this could go. I just ordered a second one for my scx24 Gladiator.

Works great and with bluetooth you can customize on a simple app. Must have !

This thing is awesome! I love being able to go into the APP and slow this thing way way down! Telemetry, Running modes, Plus I can mess with my throttle and throttle curve!
