Flite Test Power Pack A (Minis)

Great pack to help you see what you need to get started. 1806 motor was more than enough for my mini trainer and mustang, but after a few crash landings the engine started twitching and would not run with a propeller on it. Contacted customer service and there were no motors in stock so they made a deal with me where I bought another A pack and they discounted the motor. New motor is running strong even after a few more crash landings. Servos seem a little fragile, knowing that it is more than likely that they will crash a few times. I have probably had 3-4 servos (out of the 2 packs) have their wires pulled out of their sockets, especially where the Y connector for the mini trainers ailerons are. I know we are trying to save weigh, but it seems like a little more bulk in the wire wouldn’t be too drastic, especially with the monsterious wires of the Y connector. Strength wise the Servos seem to have a good amount of pull for how light weight they are. Even with the issue with the motor and servos it’s a pretty good deal if you are wanting to start out with scratch building.

A great power pack that fit perfectly in my FT Mini Scout and provides excellent power and control, BUT the propellers are very weak. Two nosedives (I am completely new to this) later, and I am out of propellers. Just stock up on extra propellers and you will be fine.
