Finally, what we've all been waiting for! Mt 14MT has been shelved for a while, after shredding no less than 9 plastic spur gears! This is the solution we needed, though I doubt the stock metal pinions will last(I've broken those too). I'm using this Exotek spur with a hardened steel pinion from Hot Racing(1/8" bore will not fit the stock 2.3mm motor). Also note that this is the smaller of the 2 spur choices for the AE 14th scale platform, and IMO that is good, as this allows the use of the flush mount lower spur cover, instead of the larger cover which protrudes and gets mashed when bashing. Anyway, thanks Exotek for giving us what AE shouldve done in the first place!

High quality gear that fits perfectly. No issues with it even running on 3s with an upgraded motor. Now we just need a 70t option to match the other stock spur.
