Exotek DR10 Lightweight Motor Plate

Good product as always but received a different motor plate than pictured. There is no tab at the top of the plate so I cannot mount the slipper dust cover. Hopefully they get this fixed. I order 2 of these. 1 has the tab on the top and the slipper dust cover does fit. Not sure why there are 2 different styles being shipped out.

I have mixed feelings about this part, the motor plate that I received differed slightly from what is shown in the photo so I'm not sure whether I was sent a slightly different part, however the packaging indicated that it's the DR10 plate. The issue is that the forward tab for the screw to attach the gear cover does not exist on the plate that I was sent, plus the shape of the motor plate does not seem compatible with the standard gear cover. However the plate fit the gearbox fine and is a decent amount lighter than the standard plate, plus if you can't put the gear cover on like me, then there's a few more grams off there! However the reason I bought this was for it's light weight and that is exactly what it delivers and it is a nicely finished part that actually looks good exposed anyway. So as long as you don't care about attaching the gear cover, then yeah, this is a good part.

Edit: On the Exotek website it actually mentions that the motor plate will not accept the gear cover.
