Exclusive RC SSD Trail King Headers are a must have addition to your Trail King. The Scale King stepped up, and designed headers specific for each engine cover position, so no matter what engine position you are building on, you have headers to work with the setup. These stock position headers were designed to fit the stock engine position (no spacer), but can be still be used with any spacer position, and will give you the look of a short tube header. They are mounted to the engine cover with 2x5mm hardware, but for the ultimate in scale scale detail, combine these with SSD scale bolts (SSD00028).

Printed from carbon nylon, these headers are stronger, with finer detail than a PLA filament print. Plus, carbon nylon is easier to paint and sands better than other types of filament, so you can add more details if you choose.

NOTE: With most 3D printed items, some light finish work may be needed to remove excess material. Simply use a sharp hobby knife or file to carefully remove small imperfections as needed.

At first I was going to give these headers a low score because I could not get them to line up to the bolt holes without hitting the chassis. I found the slightest of clearancing was necessary on the bottom tube where it touches the chassis to get these to fit. I used a very small diamond chipped Dremel bit to do the work. It’s also a good idea to clearance the exhaust tube right at the bolt hole in order for the socket two be able to lineup straight so the bolt goes in straight ad not at an angle. They look great one installed
