Works great in Axial SCX24's. You do need to either modify or buy an optional servo mount, the hot-racing one works great. Its easy enough to clip on the stock mount however and get it working. I've used both the digital and analog version of the servo and both work well.

EMAX ES08MDII 13g Digital Metal Gear Servo
Great servo. I have one in my scx24 Gladiator, one in my Atlas 6x6, and I’m about to install one in my 1/18 Land Cruiser. They have more power and speed then these stock servos and it’s a direct fit for chassis mounted micro servos. I just had to trim the servo tabs a bit to clear the scx24 chassis. No big deal.

Works great, plenty of power. However I gave it 4 stars because it run a little in the hot side.

EMAX ES08MDII 13g Digital Metal Gear Servo
Didn't work well with my axial ax24. Servo exhibited stalling and dead spots on the ground and when held in the air. Front didnt track the rear reliably. Spastic is the word that comes to mind. Have on the front and rear axles. I have the same servo on my scx24 and it works well.

I'm using a furitek lizard pro/micro komodo esc/motor (which i love). Perhaps the servos draw too much current from the esc/bec being digital. For whatever reason the combination doesn't work for me.

Bought two. Both exhibit the same behavior. Money not well spent.

I'm going to try the analog version or an eco827 next (the eco827 works well on my daughters deadbolt).

Disappointed to say the least

EMAX ES08MDII 13g Digital Metal Gear Servo
Fantastic servo for the price. Nothing crazy, but it's tiny and it does what it says on the box. The ears are a pretty soft plastic, easy to over-tighten a bolt if you have an aluminum servo tray and crush the plastic tab. But they are also easy to sand down to fit between the chassis rails. Just don't be a gorilla and it's a perfect SCX24 servo.

I’m disappointed with this servos. Always off center after moving control surfaces.
